Man, this one hits home. Although my dad is still alive, he's got a ton of health problems and the family doesn't think he has much time left. I'm sitting here as a man who will be 40 next year bawling my eyes out. I just hope I'm able to make him proud one day.

This song hits home for me. I am dealing with serious health issues from my time in Iraq and I dont know how long I will be around for my son. I am 36 and at 36 one of my best friends that I was in the Army with found out he had stage 3 colon cancer. Somehow he fought for 4 more years after that but I am dealing with possibly the same situation and its hard not knowing how long you have left. I am not afraid of death, I have lived my life in a way that I can be proud of... I just want to be here for my son so thats why this really hits home
