For some reason the algorithm has send many people to this video. I am but a man with a passion for occasional video editing practice. Check out some of my other edits if you enjoyed this one!
The title is irresistible, I guess. Those who have no friends are delighted to share their dilemma with the king. Those who are already kings deeply relate with the title. Those who want to be king want to acquaint themselves with the costs.
Hey Conor I'm a real big fan of your videos and have been trying to get into editing my own. However I'm more of a music producer and know nothing about editing. I'm curious to know the specs on the software you used to make a video this amazing. I have some ideas I want to borrow from some my favorite movies for some music production. I'm just worried I might buy an expensive graphics card if I don't need to but I have no budget. lol sorry for the long comment, thanks and keep doing good shit!!
@@Ebb0Productions If they they and their kin served at the front they would understand. They sit behind desks giving orders but never have held a post, cowards.
The best Medival movie I've ever seen and probably the only movie of his kind with such a nice soundtrack and such incredible acting, the atmosphere also is absolutely amazing. Criminal Underrated Movie
@@cloudcobain yeah, slot of people said that. But I don’t understand how people didn’t like an historical accurate movie, based on an actual poem😂 like amleth? Hamlet?
it's true when you think on it. Everyone has their own motavations, the only ones truely loyal are put in place BY the current kings. Too many competeing loyalties really.
" Send the full weight of your army, for a lone, cowardly assassin will not topple this king Henry V of England you so underestimate". What a kickass line.
The king is the loneliest being in the kingdom. Still, his knowledge and wisdom stretches through every corner of the world. From Ramses II to Alexander the Great, as a king you must make enemies to turn into friends.
@@berenerchamion4047 Being a king requires ownership. Although many people has offered me a lot of good things to be a "king", I prefer serving others, as it is the biggest aspiration a man could ever achieve. If you don't serve others, you are not going to have good children and a good wife.
No. I am here to do an angelic job then I am out. After I bring divine punishment to scumbags such as yourself I am gone. And I can't wait. You can shut your worthless face about human desires. I could not care any less about wives or children. Seriously shut your face about human desires. @@AugustoCuervo-hx9pr
The moment in movie... when his father died and he turned back finding out others kneeled before him... He had been assumed as a king within time frame of his turning back ,,,,, within fraction of second... 🔥🔥🔥.
@@lorenzomizushal3980it’s not the mechanics of succession he’s talking about, but the symbolism. Henry becomes king while spewing vitriol and hate towards the last, his back turned to the mantle that fate has forced upon him. When Henry turns around, hate and rage turns into resignation and acceptance that now in no small way he must become what he despised so deeply.
If you enjoy topics about masculinity and mastery, I invite you to explore the videos I share on the Mastery Order Channel. Challenge yourself with some concepts about manhood, explore your masculine potential to the maximum and become the kind of man you would admire. We can only better ourselves together, as men among men, so I invite you to use what I share and, of course, share your own opinions so that others can benefit from them as well. Looking forward to your points of view. All the best to you!
This apply to all men around the world, you literally have no friends just followers the day you no longer posses the ability to influence such as power, money etc you will find yourself alone just you and God and the little voice inside you will tell exactly how you lost it all step by step and if you live to fight another day you will be a very astute and strategic man who will probably tell the stories and passes the knowledge to the next generation my friend.
@@dareelantonio.3056 everything revolves around power. You dont have powerfull friends, you will not have them until u are powerfull yourself. Didnt you ask yourself why you dont have famous friends ? Or why u have friends u have? IF they are so speciall that only they fit u? Or they are like everyone else, just random people u know long time and u got used to them. Exactly.
The king - what an amazing film. the sound track, the cast, and the atmosphere of the movie is perfect. I recommend anyone who hasn’t seen it to go watch it now.
Yeah this has to be some of the best Netflix has to offer. Beautiful acting, music, cinematography. I have watched it more than some of my favorite movies, in a span of a month.
@@muddyheartboyz9974 it basically means citizens under the king. They use the word subjects in the United Kingdom. It just means citizens, but under his Majesty like a peasant. or commoners.
A Great King has many good friends, because he had so much wisdom, kindness, and grace towards countless people including strangers and when he was in trouble, millions and millions of people would answer his call. 👑
After this, the Vikings show and All Quiet on the Western Front - I keep my Netflix acct active and pay my $10 buck just on the hope that once or twice a year we will get a gem like this. Now I'm going to go watch it again
This movie even hits as a rags to riches story because my guy went from just trying to party, drink and crash at the homie’s crib to dripped out in the finest linens, cup runnething over, and hair anointed in oils.
this movie was so good. I really wish there was a second movie when the boy king realizes that he truly has no friends and he must now live out his life isolated on the throne, almost imprisoned to it. Having him look back and missing his partner in crime whom he considered as a friend.
👑 My liege, this edit , and Ive seen em all, is very very good, top 3....the voices are clear and crisp and not muddled by music, especially at first and thats such a huge part in what makes this film great besides all the other stuff, the voices of John William And Henry...outstanding work here! I have only ever hoped for one thing, to see this kingdom united under this English Crown! ♥️🏴
I love how you go into this move thinking its going to be just another cool medival war clash, but you come out the movie with a different perspective on war.
A great edit and nice melancholic and important, yet underrated topic of most geniuses on high positions - kings, emperors etc, When you're a great strategist, commander, excellent in your field, just, fair, fine man but still you can't predict that even that kind of man can have snakes waiting for him.
One of my favorite movies of all time, I rewatch it all the time. I dunno the soundtrack really resonates well with me. Even downloaded the movie incase Netflix ever pulls it from their movies ;)
A good king only concerns himself with utilizing the resources of the kingdom, to better everyone within his realm. They dismiss with a wave of their hand, the hierarchical trappings that could lead to division, suffering. This makes everyone the kings friend, and thus the king walks freely from dissension, revolution, assassination, and protection. If that is not the case then one is not a true king, and the kingdom is not conducive to the people to whom they serve. The king can be rich or poor, existing in either state, it is what they put in that, that they get out. As above so below. I like to pretend that every snail i save from burning in the sun, in the mornings, means that perhaps one day MY Lord MAY save my insignificant life from the fire. Where man is concerned however is not as a Lord, as The Lord may always intervene despite even if an entire group should devise to ensnare that snail, setting it into a position to burn thru their own mechanications. They will find their plans scattered to the wind. A True Lord addresses the needs of the other lifeforms within its sphere of influence, never favoring the larger at the expense of the smaller, and vise versa. A True Lord builds for everything as extensions of themselves, not itself, so that their identity is never stripped, using mind/heart to make structures that are resonant with the traits of the elements, with the heart, with the needs and wants of even the lowest lifeforms, up to the highest lifeforms, as they are. Thus life itself is friends to The Lord. Their are many false kings, a few true kings but only 1 True Lord.
I remember waking up NY day with a bad hangover. I was like this will put me to sleep quick. And as soon as it ended I was like okay 1 more time, and put it right back on.
AAAA I love this movie. I remember watching this for the second time a year ago only to notice that I never truly understood it. context: at the time I was a recently promoted manager at a cafe. the problem: I'm 16 and managing 30-year-olds. there's a looming doubt that capsizes the new king all throughout the film; a doubtfulness of youth; an accepted connection between youth and immaturity. Same for my position, i knew people were doubting me. yet, just like chalamet's character, I had ambition and the skills to back it up. I could never explain how (for lack of a less cringe word) moved I was when watching henry V persist through doubt and relinquish his own. "Send the full weight of your army, for a lone, cowardly assassin will not topple this king Henry V of England you so underestimate"; is what pops into my brain when I receive any form of doubt. notably, I left that place because they ended up never raising my pay. now i barista with people who know what my skills are worth in the field of artisanal coffee. also now I notice that being anxious there stems from capitalism prop. like, no, reasonable living pay should not be a reward for working non-stop. anyways, at time of watching this..... absolutely blown away
"A king has no friends" "No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you." -John 15:15
many people hate on Timothée for how he dresses and behaves in his personal life, or how skinny and feminine he is but as far as being an actor that guy act Specially in these movies like The King and Dune where the character is this thinking, quiet leader that starts with many doubts and is seeing as weak but slowly evolves into a powerful and beloved leader of the people.
Everyone becomes a king now, see the comments. Fake motivation so easy to tell. True king is one who does just ‘average’ when others are just seem to be baffled that what to do’!
This is a good movie I myself was feeling like a king when the movie ended such an inspiration also reminds me of King David defeating Goliath from the Holy bible the cofident the honor n Glory such a young King.
