Эта культура там же, где культура и язык мокши, эрзи, ижорцев, муромы и прочих народов, погибших в ходе строительства государства. Окситаеский язык не американцы погубили, а французы.

Hi there, maybe you’ve noticed it, some of my videos (4 videos) have been deleted due to copyrights claims from the Choeur Montjoie Saint-Denis, I’ll try to repost some of them with an alternate version of the music, wich is possible for “Monsieur de Turenne” and “Les dragons de Noailles”. There was and there is a continuum between all "romance" languages. You can find the whole path between portugal and italy, before muslim invasions u can found it between Portugal and Romania. The divisions in these days are all about politics and geopolitics.

@@BBRocker75it is not just that. In those times catalan and occitan were the same language. Scholars have a hard time to tell whether a text had been written in catalan or occitan in those early times, because there was not that difference.

It's not the occitan my grand parents talk. It might aswell just be catalan that someone labeled as occitan. The r at the end of the words isn't silent And the a at the end of a word is pronounced a not o here

@@Syagrios Well, the r at the end of the words in modern catalan is also silent, but it didnt use to be so. Also whilst final letter a in catalan isnt o in any dialects, it does get very close to being an o in some, specially in the north and mallorca. Modern occitan is also significantly more different from medieval occitan than modern catalan is from medieval catalan, mainly due to french influence amongst the elites ever since the 1200s, and much more generalized french influence since the french revolution (even if most people were still monolingual occitan speakers). But otherwise it is occitan, I do see traits not shared by catalan, its just that its probably 700 or 600 years before your grandfather, so it sounds different Just think about how french trilled their r's until the 1800s

Jacobin ? Absolument pas, mais l'Occitanie est une invention, à la différence de vraies patries comme la Provence, le Languedoc, l'Auvergne etc... En fait, c'est l'Occitanie qui est un projet jacobin puisqu'elle cache les vraies identités des pays d'oc au profit d'un faux arc narratif, de langues dont l'intercompréhension est discutable est une croix cléchée qui n'a pas sa place en dehors du Languedoc (l'Occitanie réelle)
