Many thank's to all the girl's in ala carte for the fond memories and great music it's a shame Coconut record's can't bring you back for a tour you would have many new fan's and give your older fan's something to look forward to. As a fan I thought you all were brill but joy was my favourite she had a out of this world smile and her eye's were just so beautiful I once had the privilege of meeting you all outside the studio in Hennef I had a photo taken with you all but mislaid it long ago It would be nice if you all could let us fan's know what you are all up to now as I have often wondered what you are all doing Best wishes for the future David .
Very funny to see again! I heard them as a young boy in The Faroe Islands in the early 80"s. So funny to see. Liked them very much then. More to rock and Tecno today. But still listen to " old " songs then and then. and nice to see Jennifer her too!

I'm 40 now but still remember you on shows like Disco, Musikladen etc back in good old Germany despite living in London now; I always loved your catchy, happy songs and I've got all your records..... some old vinyl still but also the re-released CDs. This is the title track from their absolutely super album which contains several classic hits - many with Michael Cretu's involvement. They should have been much bigger than they were. Anyone agree?

Hi David, thank you for your lovely words and wishes. I am so glad you like my songs, I wrote them all over the last year and have entered a song competition in the UK with 12 of them so fingers crossed for me. It would've been fascinating to see the photo from Hennef. Is that where you live ? Coconut offices were based there too. I still keep in touch with Joy and Kate now and again but they still live in the UK and I live in Australia now for the last 15 years. All the best to you David xxx

I agree with you the photo would have been fascinating to look at for a start I had blonde hair and lots of it back then I was actually working in Hennef at the time I met you all. I live in Eston in Cleveland in the UK I came back to the UK early in 84. I would like to ask are joy and Katie still in the music business or did they take a different path ? do they have a face book page as it would be nice to have a chat with them re the good memories you have given us fans over the years. If you go to youtube and search for Stephen Brazier (he did little fun clips for 2 of my songs. "Howling like the Wind" and "Sunshine".
