@@Ronnietheboypickering it's funny because in the interview after AJ lost to.usyk Eddie said AJ did wonders for heavy weight boxing. He changed heavy weight boxing. What a load of sh*t. It's sad because even now Eddie tries to treat him like a gidlen goose preventing the fans from seeing the fights they crave. Even though the golden goose is now a piece of KFC in the gutter.
Nice start, but be better if they pressed him to actually answer those tough questions... Why did he set deadlines? What was his actual answer to that? Did he give one, or did he just spin some nonsense before they moved on to the next tough question?

He’s a big reason why the HW division is seen as a joke as of today. HW champions of the past wanted to sweep all competition to prove that they were undisputed greats. Anybody else notice how Fury keeps calling the name Joshua when he needs to sell his fiights?, The same goes for Deontay Wilder, he ALWAYS calls Joshua when he has a fight to sell. But the irony is that Fury and Wilder have repeatedly said Joshua is now irrelevant because of his past losses. Make it make sense??

I think if Fury really really wanted the fight AJ, they would've given AJ and co better dates and more time. AJ just had a mental breakdown against Usyk and Fury wanted easy pickings against him. I think Fury should've let them set it for next year Feb and do a massive buildup to the fight.
AJ is not the boss, Eddie Hearn is. He wants AJ to fight Fury, after the fight between Fury and Usyk. Hearn knows AJ has no value if AJ got beaten by Fury. Clearly AJ doesn't want to fight for less than 20 million. Hearn is not a sportman, he is just a greedy businessman.
Hearn is protecting his investment, AJ would've lost 3 fights in a row and then his value would plummet. Eddie Hearn knows AJ isn't beating Fury and he doesn't wanna lose his cash cow.

I always find Calzaghe and Froch a weird one. Calzaghe has his first world title fight v Pascal a few weeks after Calzaghe already retired. Calzaghe had already moved up to light heavyweight when Froch was still fighting in British title fights at Super Middleweight. People rewrite narratives but if you look at the facts, their careers barely even crossed paths. They were at completely different levels and stages at the time, never mind different weights by the time Froch was even getting near world title fights. Calzaghe was headlining the MGM grand and MSG while Froch was still fighting in smaller shows making his way up the rankings. Now, Hatton and Witter, there was no excuse for that not happening when they were both champs in their prime, or Brook v Khan earlier.
The 5 million offer for froch v Calzaghe was early 2008. Calzaghe turned it down and then moved up. Froch went on to fight pascal and Taylor that same year instead. The debate is kept going because Calzaghe chose 2 over the hill legends who he refused to fight earlier in his career rather than fight an up and comer. Some defend Calzaghe some don’t it’s that simple really.
you're right.... different levels, Froch beating small men and getting schooled by groves twice......Calzaghe beating every opponent in style...barely losing a round in over 35 fights
Tyson Fury talking about Joshua not having a set of balls while its him not being able to get himself together and claim mental health issues after his win over Klitschko. |Its him fighting the Seferi's, Wallin's, Schwarzes, Pianatas and Chisora's . Joshua gathered all the belts he left scattered one by one and actually defended them.
Joshua is the biggest hype job in boxing. Not even a top 4 heavyweight in his era. Amazing how he and Eddie conned the public and made hundreds of millions.
Tyson Fury is a boxing legend. He doesn't need these fake fans. Did everyone complain when Muhammad Ali had tune up fights against Richard Dunne? Coopman?
The real Question is...why did fury pretend he was retired. Wait for the top boxer's to fight then say he's back instead of fighting in August or September when top opponents were available? Seems Mr "he tells it how it is" Simon Jordan actually doesn't...
Come on dude.. Fury could have taken the december 17 fight.. Fury has only fought one current top ten and now hes fighting a guy who's no longer in the top 30.. I think that hes definitely the best.. But his resume is awful
The thing is fury pretended to be retired then demanded Usyk and AJ fight him THREE months after the biggest fight of their careers. Nobody has had TWO title fights in THREE months since the late 80s. He KNEW they wouldn't fight in December. So why didn't fury fight in August or September when legit opponents were available instead of pretending he was retired? This nonsense WAS set up long ago. All this "Nobody else was available"? Nah cos fury literally waited for Ruiz, Joyce, parker, ortiz to fight before saying he wasn't retired to fight a tin can
I really think politics has got in the way of meaningful fights we all want to see. Fury Vs AJ ... AJ loses and that is melt down for Herne becuase AJ loses nearly all future commercial deals. Fury Vs Usky ... Usky loses its a massive blow for the people of Ukraine. Fury Vs anyone ... If Fury loses he loses the 0 that is massively important to some fighters.
I'm not defending anyone here. I hate the politics in boxing and think everyone is to blame. I also think Fury thinks he can sell this fight with Chizora but no one will buy it as a PPV. He's in for a shock
£50 says Tyson Fury declares that he's quit boxing again at some point after the Derek Chisora fight. The AJ fanboys need to pressure their idol into finding his balls and encourage Joshua into taking that enormous "AJ vs Fury" pay-day.
Perhaps AJ will pick up the gauntlet once all of his other pay-days dry up. Once Fury batters him that's surely going to leave AJ with a significantly reduced purse for future prospective bouts. I can't keep up with Fury. One minute he's retiring, the next minute he's got one more big fight left, the next he's possibly going to have another ten fights... I reckon he'll change his mind at least a couple more times between now and next Easter. Perhaps he's merely deploying a bit of psychology to encourage AJ to seize the opportunity once and for all.
I can pick out about 20 contradictions from fury here. And so much for simon slagging off ifltv for asking padded questions. He begins his questions with ' you're the best of all time ' and ' I'm not disrespecting you ' and other big sycophantic cushioners. And jumping in with ' I agree ' while echoing furys porkies. Simon the sellout

I love all the comments here saying Fury is in the wrong, it is clear to anyone with two brain cells that ,Joshua knows he is finished and won't fight Wilder or Fury, his next fight will be against a worse opponent than Chisora
Is this man ever going to stop using AJs name to promote himself.. If he was serious about fighting AJ then why not take the december 17 date, and why give a deadline of a week
Fact is Fury ducked the fight 3 years ago when AJ offered him 45% to fight at wembley. Fury had no belts at the time and he chose to fight the mighty Tom Shwartz instead.
>Usyk called Fury out after the AJ fight . >Fury accepted. >Usyk declines because of “injury” And can’t go until may 2023. >Fury goes for Joshua instead. >Usyk calls Tyson Fury a duck. >Usyk tries to train AJ for fight with Fury even though he’s injured and out till 2023 (but still playing basketball) >Fury sends unbelievable offer / contract, AJ dragged his feet to sign it,Hean let’s it slip he advised AJ not to take it then says in the same video he’s trying to make it,AJ don’t sign< >Fury labelled a ducker . Yet it’s Tyson‘s fault.😂 My God the mental gymnastics the PediHearn and AJ fans go through.🙈
Gopatch you rimming aj, lost 3 of his last 6 and fury undefeated, giving aj a shot at redemption 60/40 . The least Hearn and aj could do is say they ducked it be honest to the fans
Fury ducked Joyce. After beating Parker, Joyce said he could step in to fight on Dec 3rd if AJ falls through, and Tyson said Joyce didn’t have enough Instagram followers! What is that if not a duck! I think both Eddie and Tyson didn’t want the AJ fight. They just didn’t expect AJ to call Tyson’s bluff. I do think Tyson would beat AJ, but I also think Tyson is avoiding risk/ any potential losses which is a shame
Joshua has lost what little respect was left after ducking this fight!.....its a shame, because Chisora is a bum and its genuinely not an interesting fight...
