invisibleaznDJ While that would be nice, it would require that Lamborghini’s came with rear wheel drive setups as drifting a car with 4 wheel drive could cause complications and most 4 wheel drive cars can’t even go into a drift due to the drivetrain.

Question, how does a hydraulic hand brake work on a dual clutch transmission car? Is it hooked up so that when the brake is pulled it also disengages the clutch?

This was something we were concerned about too. But over all it is working pretty good. The computer will sense that the wheel speed is getting low and at that moment the clutch will be disengaged by the computer.

Samuel Hübinette thank you for the reply. I would have thought without some sort of tune the car would stall when the handbrake was pulled. I guess Cars today are smarter than I thought!

This is what's on my mind as well, I don't assume all civil dual clutch gearboxes can disengage the clutch automatically when you pull the handbrake.

That's convenient, didn't know modern cars will actually do that. Hopefully my M135i is clever enough when I'm hard on the hand brake, tempted to try.

Don't think you saw the full video that we did. Over all I can tell you that a car with the engine in the back are very demanding to drift due to all the weight in the back. Just saying!!!!!

Samuel Hübinette I don't think this guy would have the first idea about drifting tbh. She did an awesome job, I'd say the Lamborghini would be more than a hand full to slide around especially with the big V10 behind you.

lambos (or ferraris for that matter) would not "have all weight in the back".. they are perfectly balanced machines that mount their engines right in the MIDDLE of the car. Also, these cars are 4 wheel drive to avoid any kind of "drifting" so it beats me how she would use a hand brake. Mind you they are Swedish, and it is their car so good luck with them, I did not see her use the hand brake in the video anyway.

so because its only donuts in the wideo - which arent even donuts, thats drifting in a small circle.. you immediatly come to the conclusion that its the only thing she can do
