Brilliant Jak! Thanks for taking the time to have another look at Shot Vision and for taking our tips into consideration. We know the data is accurate but setup is important just like any other device on the market. Also, really loving the consistency you have going and looking forward to seeing you apply that skill in the games and challenges!
Ive also got the update and found it much better. On my numbers I gauged it about 3-6m long depending on the club but as I used the driver it was much harder to gauge because I was keeping and deleting shots to suit the numbers that I think I hit rather than what I actually might be hitting
Jak Lee Golf yeah can see they’re wanting to develop it, I think for the average golfer who doesn’t carry every shot the same distance due to strike the gapping mode alone could bring their scores down as most people won’t go driving range and pay for a gap test, could really lower some scores.
Look forward to seeing the comparison.. Shame your net broke, driver shots would have been interesting. Could do with a net. manufacturer posting you out a new net😂
Jak that was bang on buddy well I think you sealed the deal I will be getting it for a year , be very interesting to see how this app does in the next year !!! Sorry about your net bro lol 🤯 And got a say pretty solid swing buddy well done 👍🏼
Great review. Need to improve numbers with my driver before my next fit so would be great to see what numbers you get with driver...get the duvet out!! 😂
Great info. Get some tap over the corner of the net and then put o hole in it😉🏌🏻....So it’s £84 per year. I think I would rather spend my money going to a pro and get my club distance done along with a golf ‘MOT’ every 6 months...I reckon that would cost £80-100 plus I’d get any bad habits eradicated. Free version then thumbs up...but what are the downside of the free version?
Saw more in accuracies with the free version, both are worth investing in I’d say, I wouldn’t put those 2 things against each other when it comes to importance they’ll both benefit you 👍🏼
Ian Attwater wouldn’t have thought there’d be much difference unless you make the mistake of placing the phone on a mat as I did first time, in that cause it seems as though it seriously affects accuracy
Do you think the difference in the GW distance be the loft? You have a 50 but the app is set to 51. I know it’s minimal but will surely give a slight difference?
Jak Lee Golf I know on the Swing Caddie they added the ability to change the set club lofts in the second gen onwards, so wondered how much difference it would make to the calculation. One degree may not even equate to a yard with that ball speed I guess! Just got a new iPhone so going to give this a go for a month, see how I get on.
