You are a man of your word with true integrity. I have nothing but tremendous respect and admiration for your dedication to the families you serve and your dedication to your profession. What a relief that these qualities still exist in some today. On behalf of all the families you have and will serve thank you. It doesn’t not go unnoticed.
Thank you for that. You also asked a question I have been asking you on the last few videos. Thank you for taking care of my Brother. Maybe you didn't personally take care of him, but someone like you did. God Bless you.
I used to work in the cemetery business for 20 years ,if people just knew what (they don't see), would make them go ape sh.its a $$$ rip off the mark up on anything, I mean anything is over 700%. Vault, casket, open close layout fee, dock fees, administrative fees, transfer fees, markers, grainte, scrools, vases, any thing they sell you is cheap to purchase, but they up charge everything. It's a scam 😒 people go and take out loans,it's heart breaking how the burial business can get away with what they do,ask questions, shop around, you can get what u need a lot a lot cheaper beware of your purchases in your time of grief and heartbreak
It happens my friend and you handled this situation with integrity and poise. I have, more than once, had to communicate this kind of unfortunate news to a grieving family. And each time I have found that by being fully transparent and honest the families are grateful to have not been placed in harms way. Well done.
Love how Loving you are with these people & There Families your an Amazing Person , At least you admitted what went wrong and will be prepared next time .. Keep up up the Good work and thank you 💯💯💯
Wearing your error like a tailored suit. Got to respect that my man and I bet it'll never happen to you again and if you're ever training anyone it'll never happen to them either.
Here in Cleveland Ohio we are not allowed to be there to see our loved ones lowered anymore because of this. I really wanted to be there to see my grandma lowered but we had to just leave her body (it wasnt where she was being burried, tho i bought a bag of dirt and poured it in for my grandma! Its been 6years and i still call my grandma's number whenever something big happens in my life... I miss her terribly!
Here in Tennessee one can be there to see or not.. I went a funeral and the burial and I observe them laying the dirt on my loved one. After that then the Undertaker would say.. I would like to thank the family for choosing blah blaaah whatever funeral home that they picked. And he also say the service for so and so is now over. And he/she would direct the family and friends back to their designated vehicles.
@mikecrews9112, is that state law, city law, what the cemetery workers say, or the funeral director’s opinion? In my area of Virginia, the directors and cemetery workers don’t care if you stand around or at a distance, as long as you aren’t in the way
@@OlliearoyaL29stpthe burials I’ve attended in Virginia and other states, the burial doesn’t happen until after words are spoken by the officiant, prayers are offered, maybe a song, and the funeral home director thanks the family and thanks those who attended on behalf of the family
I was a grave digger. We went through cave ins every day almost. one hole we dug during a rain storm turned into the area of two, two car garages. The soil kept eroding since most of that section was sand. Vaults were exposed throughout the area and we had to do a top seal then lower the vault with the backhoe and quickly rush with the dump truck and tractors pulling carts to fill in the hole was quickly as possible.
Some crazy shit happens in the cemetery, people are buried in the wrong places and names are put on the Monuments in the wrong places you would not believe because they don’t talk about and only the families and the cemetery workers and maybe the Funeral Home workers will know about. I know because e worked in one back in the mid 80’s.
First off, that is the most beautiful vault I've ever seen. Second i completely understand accidents but in my family we stay at the grave sight until the last shovel of dirt is put on our loved one and they can be completely at rest. How long does it take to redig because you'd have a few Romani's camping in the cemetery 😅
In our culture we burry our loved ones by hand, weather permitting (we live in Canada, so sometimes when it is too cold or wet we each just put in a shovel full, and let the tractor do the rest)
At 47 years old, I have never seen a casket lowered into a vault/grave, let alone a vault be lowered. I've been to about a dozen funerals. Cemeteries here (OH/WV) just don't do that until after the family/mourners have left.
I look at this and it reminds me of my son being put in a hole and it breaks my heart into pieces it's been 5 years but for me it's as. If it just happened 😢😢 I cry every day and I would gladly take his place
Awesome! Question. When I went to my father's funeral in the church, which is 15 minutes from the cemetery, he was already buried! With flowers on top everything! His casket was at the church. So how did they hurry him in 15 minutes? He had a vault too I was told. Asking cause suspicious will activity. Please respond so important. Oh and when he died suddenly, no police came and they put him in ambulance covered in white sheet no coroner. Strange? Small town too. Thank you Jennifer
Anton would eventually died from cystic fibrosis if he did not get smashed between his gate wall and Cherokee jeep. Rest in heaven Anton you will be missed . 27 is so young but people and children die at young ages .
Stuff happens. You made no excuses.Any clowns who say “You had one thing to do…” are perfect and obviously from another planet. The loved one’s remains are at rest.
Yeah like a cemetery here they don't think people know you don't bury people after a heavy rain unless you pump the water out of the grave and pack it with sand.
My family would choose the extra falls flower or rose off bouquet has keep shake off casket to covers bless of love one before leave graveyard to let the The hucks Funeral workers do there job in Bearing our family members
This is one of the worst grave openings I've ever seen. And the customer was charged about $2000 for an opening fee. The cemetery should adjust the fee and for the ground closing as well. Shame on them! 😱😱😡😡
My grandmother's grave started to cave in due to two things. One was that it rained a couple of days before her funeral, and the ground was wet. Luckily, the night before the funeral, it got down to below freezing and the grave was fixed. The second thing was, the grave next to her's was dug at the same time and caused hers to cave in.
It happens,my son watched them dig the graves so he could make sure the vault would fit into the grave.hes told me that sometimes they would get to close to the grave they was digging and would scrape the side of it.thank God my sons company didn't dig the graves them selves.
The soil was unstable and was falling into the grave. Normally the family would be right there near the hole. But in the case there was a risk a live family member may have ended up in the grave too when the soil collapsed.
@@paulh1745 im an embalmer and used to dig and cover graves. In North Carolina the grave dimension are 3-3 1/2 feet wide x 8 feet long by right around 5ft deep
