Alhamdulliah, this lecture and among his other lectures have enlighted me, a beautiful lecture. I never knew drugs would actually stop your salah just because it does not say in the Quran, I know many who do it, but hopefully they can see this and know that it does, I hope myself I continue to stay strong on the deen and a have purified soul as for the first ever I am truly happy with Islam in my life.
, I find it very refreshing that Islam forbids alcohol.. i wasted my youth.with alcohol but once i stopped drinking 25 years ago i began to see things a lot differently and became a much better person some of my friends are in a bad way with drink or either in prison or dead. drink gives youth false courage and with that , they do all sorts of stupid & dangerous things, that when the drink wears off ,they are left desolate not believing what 'they' have done the Imam speaks wisely

its good to look at the issue around Addcition and how it is forbidden in islam. but for who has suffered from this issue how can we look at helping out of addcition sometimes it not as easy as saying stop because it is forbidden we need to look at how no one starts drugs and alcohol to become addicted but somewhere along the way became addicted first we need umderstand what that is and also look at how to help them and their families. i work in the field and see it daily how we misunderstand people in Addcition for me it is to help people out of this problem and understand recovery Addcition is like an illness that needs to be recovered from.

YHWH the Almighty gave us a free will. It is up to us to be guided and the day will come when HE will judge us according to our deeds. Islam has no right to control us or take away that freedom of choice that the Almighty bestowed on us.

Then why are is there an abundance of poppy fields in Afghanistan and surrounding areas? I don't have to be a Muslim to understand the danger of drugs and alcohol. Christians too realise the danger of drugs and alcohol. Its the way parents bring up their children. I was brought up to learn the dangers of drugs and alcohol, no thanks to Islam, I am a senior citizen and have never partaken in drugs but I have on the odd occasion taken alcohol but NEVER experienced the sensation of drunkenness.
But why talk about tablighis in a derogatory way when on Qiyamah you will see the reality of tabligh, without tabligh, you pakistanis would still be upon kuffr and shirk, still a hindu. Dont speak ill of others after highlighting decent points on drugs today. You lost all the rewards in backbiting about God fearing and practicing people who convey the message in the path of Allah

i have to rewatch when he says that and what he means.this was a while back when i made the comment. but i remember he had a bit of ego in him and no real knowledge of "reality of drugs" because at that time i was looking for knowledge to help my self stop drugs.. Anyway i still think Internet+ mobile and all that is okay for kids. i am software engineer by profession. i studied a little bit about this topic(kids & tech) in university and really liked it. Believe me this guy isnt in the position to say things like that. he talking out of his ass lol.

U seem very naive... personally i really can not be asked to spell it 4u.. not every parent unfortunately keeps an eye on their child who's on internet etc... its the world at ur finger tips! And ow wat a damn evil place this world can be. Ofcourse theres alot u can do in order to prevent this but Q is does everyone do it? @kasht786 also weed does not make u do what hes saying hes talking about mans smoking meth which arsehole smoked a relaxant n goes.n attacks there parents iv used weed 7 years n till this day iv never had a problem with no one if anything in certain sutuations if i wasnt "high" i could have got into worse trouble, real talk ppl make weed out to be something its not, its in the food u eat the medicines u take, even alcohol too much of anything is bad for u.
