i laughed hard on several occasions; the girls, was a knowing nod. And then Pro football and movie star, I was rolling on the ground. But you shut me up with a nonchalant two black belts!!! Forget pro football and movie star. A writer And a martial artist! Awesome. I'll try this, but there's one thing I'm going to say to my 10 yr old self; you will be disappointed, the brain and the body don't necessarily mature in unison.

Yep! Let's just say I was born in the late days of disco. (Thank God I have no memory of that.) Yeah, it's a prompt that certainly requires some self-reflection and a creative approach. Mine was just one of many ways you could do it. Good luck!

Well done. Personally, mine starts with "don't worry, you'll learn to live with it" and ends with "P.S.: Buy a lot of Bitcoin."

depressing writing prompt/outline, maybe a 'scifi short' screenplay: Semi-time-traveler sends a letter to a past version of himself and fills it with 'buy bitcoin' types of things, while not knowing that he's actually sending it to an alternate/parallel timeline where that thing does not happen as intended. (is this just 'the butterfly effect'? oops. okay, so,) perhaps the letters are going to a timeline where time travelers have been known about for years, and this kid's disappointed to see that his letter is just another stupid tip from some greedy-adult-version-of-themself, telling him to buy a stock which is already reaching surge prices (because of all of the other time travelers) while saying nothing useful or introspective about their actual life. ends with that kid growing old and sending himself the more 'complete' letter he wanted to get. [maybe it would follow the three versions throughout the script (bitcoin; introspective; 'conclusion' timelines, respectively) with some big reveal at the end to make it all make sense - idk] For some reason, I feel like your sports bet would be a safer one than Bitcoin in that kind of scenario, but the majority of emotional and career-based assurances would still work out. Just a thought.
