Thank you so much for these videos, I just came out of my business mock that went horribly simply because I couldn't get my words out when analysing my points so hopefully it will help me in my next mock. Just a quick question how would you imbed theories and models into longer answer questions (9-25 markers ??)
Thanks for making these!!!! they are really helpful. Could you please do a chain of analysis for when a business reduces expenditure and therefore increases profits? Apologies if this has already been done
My tip would be to re-read the question before writing each paragraph of your answer. Make sure that everything you are about to write specifically answers the question. I would also spend 2 minutes before even beginning a longer answer planning out the points I wanted to make in each paragraph so I'm not inventing new points off the top of my head half way through an answer.
Find it crazy how teachers don’t teach you this exam technique. Just tell you to make a point explain analyse and conclude and then act surprised when the whole class is on Ds in year13.
Hello, you are very helpful and I would love it if you publish a video on lean production before Friday as I have my A level exam at that date and I still don't get the hang of this chapter. Thank you anyways and thanks for helping
Hello Sir, how many consequences should be developed into a chain of five? In your Tesco example you developed the staff insecurity, should this be done with all the others too or would that be too lengthy? Thank you
For a question, make two points, each with a chain of consequences. 5 is just a guide, try and make your chains as long as you can, especially as the questions get longer and are worth more marks
hi! could you please help with this question. i struggle with making a chain and identifying points. ' analyse the benefit of the social objectives (being provision of jobs and improving environment).' for more information, a local designer has volenteered to make product designs. i was told to add information regarding balance of payment, balance of trade, living standards, inflation, unemployment, gdp, and the circular flow of income. i have no clue how they apply.
The question is "Analyse the benefits of branding to superdry" but we only made one point that in increases sales volume. Should there not be more than one point though?
Yes, but the video is about how to show analysis, not how to structure a 9-12 mark answer. For that, you want this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HDJNSRpc7bQ.html
Can you link other topics or units to an exam question about one topic for example, if the question was "analyse the benefits of basing decisions off of data". When analysing can you talk about things like, demographic factors, geographical factors, the demand of the product or service, if there is a niche market, if there is a gap in the market etc. Would i be credited no marks for that?
Despite how I have watched all your videos and apply all the information I've got from these videos. My teacher gives me mediocre marks and she insists on raising many points rather than analysing a consequence. I got a C in my first year now it's my second year how can I improve my grade while listening to her advice
I think there is a strong argument that profit is not the end destination - the uses of profit (such as dividends or reinvestment in expansion, training, marketing etc)
