I used to strongly dislike Additional Math until I discovered this channel. The first video that I ever saw from this channel taught me how to differentiate, and from there, I became exceptional at every form of math at this level. I will never forget the epiphany I had after watching that first video. I'm currently pursuing Pure and Applied Math, and enjoying it wholeheartedly. It comes out negative algebraically because it's under the axis, but you're right - we just take area as a positive quantity so we can drop the minus sign for the final answer.
