Hi, do you think it’s possible if you could show the structure for a 16 marker question (in a separate video) :) Many thanks, Talia

Do you have any strengths for the evaluation

Hi- loving your work. Are you currently teaching? Maybe we could get our students together for a revision /research methods practice.

Hello, I’m preparing to study a psychology conversion MBA (2022)and want to start with the A level this year. Where should I start with your videos? I’ll watch through them all but wondering on best order. Cheers. Adam

You need to start with the year 1 content. That is social influence, memory, attachment, psychopathology, approaches (excl. psychodynamic and humanistic) and research methods. You can then move onto the year 2 material. However, take a look at the AQA a-level specification, because you can choose a range of topics in year 2 depending on your interests.

can we give a strenght Through harlows monkeys? say that to an extent can explain human attachment due to altricial species. however still cannot generalise?
@porcupineou
@porcupineou 3 месяца назад
yeah you could but in my opinion its better to state that it lacks generalizability to humans but since they are really similar species it could still be counted as some sort of support, but im not dure why you would use it for this specific spread, wouldn’t that be more relevant for animal studies?

can you give only weaknesses in the evaluation rather than both strengths and weaknesses, will you be marked down if your answer lacks strengths

Probably a bit late to answer this but just in case any current students are wondering the same, you won't lose marks for only having weaknesses in a 16 marker for example, but i highly recommend learning at least 2 strengths as sometimes questions come up where you will be asked to list 2 strengths of something, or 1 strength and 1 weakness. You'll probably be fine for strengths for research studies if you learn your research methods though
