You must have watched an unedited version of this video. The original version found on his RU-vid channel is edited. He bleeps out the curse words because younger fans listen to his music.The original video had bloopers at the end that you missed out on. He doesn't curse a whole lot in his music but next time, try to watch only from his channel to avoid hearing them.

She said if I thought that way she couldn't be my friend. This was my neighbor growing up as a kid. My maid of honor and my daughter's God mother. Very sad 😢

Jesus said, "What reward do you have if you love those who love you?" Then, he tells us to love our enemies. Do you know what happens when you love your enemies? This concept changed my life and the way I think. Similar to the stance of Tom's song... I believe in unconditional love. Unfortunately, the average person is programmed from birth to love only conditionally. Consequently, they grow up feeling that they have to earn any love that they get. Earn it by their good behavior, by agreeing to let someone else have their way, by giving someone what they want, or simply by just being "nice". This, of course, only breeds a circular kind of unprogressive conformity. Since the impression is built deeply within us that we must "please" our parents or our playmates or anyone else, for that matter, in order to be loved, we come to expect others to be able to "please" us if they want our love. This deep-seated attitude makes it humanly impossible for us to love anyone who disagrees with us or believes differently or acts differently from the way we think they should. Because all people not only need to be loved but also need to love, this often leads us in frantic efforts to manipulate people. To try to change them. To make them over into what we want them to be so that then we can love them. Thus we see people everywhere trying to change, manipulate, dominate and control each other. Until we stop this behavior in ourselves, we will never learn how to love unconditionally. I choose to accept people how they are; to love them for who they are, no questions asked.

Back in the day conservatives and liberals might have disagreed but we could still be friends becouse we would drop the politics at some point and focus on the person. To this day I have plenty of great friends I might not agree with on everything but I respect there opinions. We need that difference of opinions to grow as a people. I was raised as a republican, with that said, I now fall somewhere in between. I have been saying for many years that both parties are corrupt. I believe that both sides of the two big parties have people that have filtered into the opposite party in order to dilute what that party stands for. They all have their hands in the cookie jar. Tom speaks what we all see and feel. I want to thank you for having your eyes open! I was very skeptical when I saw your video pop up in the feed if I'm being honest! This was the first time that I had watched a video from you. In the first few lines of Tom's song, you had a new subscriber. I appreciate that even though you consider yourself a liberal, you are willing to not only talk about politics with a level head, but you also research and dig into the facts. You don't just spout off bs that someone tells you to believe! I have always thought that voting on party lines was stupid. That's the problem, though! You need to be louder! If you want positive change in our nation, you need to fight for it. The squeaky wheel gets the oil. Right now, it's the lemmings that are being heard because they are the loudest. Those of us with half a brain and a level head need to put our foot down and stand up for what's right! We need to talk through our differences and come to a decision that best benefits our nation. It doesn't matter what side of the board that we stand on. We need to stop letting the needs of the few dictate the needs of the many within reason. Each thing needs to stand on its own merit and be decided upon justly.

When you respond to the video without putting the time stamp on it, I have no idea what you are referencing in the video. RU-vid comments don't show up live and in sync with the videos. It's probably better to either put a time stamp on each comment so I know what you're referencing or wait until the end of the video and say everything in one comment. Hopefully, that makes sense.
