My next door neighbors lost their minds when I enclosed my backyard with a unique type of fence and began to transform the space. Although I love my new, improved backyard - beautiful covered deck, koi pond, lush grass - I have truly suffered from these people. They throw things at my fence, they claim that it hurts their children, they have built a guard tower that looms over my space. I realized how much they resemble my eldest sister, who was always judging my behavior, my grades in school, my figure and my face. I’m so grateful that you pointed out their own imbalance. Why DO they think they need to judge what I do? And I feel good about not listening to them - they don’t understand and they never will. Pile 2. So much. It’s true!! Everybody watching… judging.. hating till I literally retreated and became a hermit. But now I’m slowly releasing the need for approval and validation. Some people I realise are envious. They always will be. So forget about them. They don’t matter.
Pile 1 and it’s amazing how my current living was captured so so well here. I think my life revolves around the theme of communication the transcript of abstract into clarity (throat chakra) - the communication that involves me to myself, me to the world around. I embarked a new project recently to tell stories on what I love and aims to naturally become better at it because of the conscious repetition (also better at learning myself why she like those things/moment and why it has a special place in heart). Interestingly, no matter what I do I observed that I always come back to the theme expression, expressing stories in various medium since I was younger - teaching/organizing events/doodles/drawing/journal/scrapbooking/blogs/photography/carousel/transcribe significant information I read in my own phrase/writing (with an identity a voice that I wish society to project but not who I actually am because my fear to judgement and unable to received comprehension that closely related to how I view myself) but this time I’m finally able to be honest. And having fun and satisfaction in the process. It was a rather early stage to derive anything but weirdly I have this gut feeling I’m going on the right direction (a new approach sensing challenges including the fear towards judgement and it triggered my old conformity and trying something that was but it has to push through to see another side). Then today I came across a piece of wisdom - it was Neil Gaiman he says something like there’s 1000 bad stories in this pen waiting to come out before the good ones start to appear, it’s very in vein with what Reem said about the analogy with water, only creation constant creation will dilute the ink until it becomes almost clear water. And it applies to expression, the thing is I won’t be better at it if I halt expression and suppress them in the genie bottle. It’s about the more I do I will be able to do better at the craft. Just same like putting the attention back on myself, to love myself, I’m doing this because I want to know her, and that should be my objective, it not like I’m not having fun, my creation become a idea bouncer just to reflect me back in it to see if I’m doing it honestly or seeking others validation and prioritizing before having my own. I’m wavered by the old, non-serving criticizing voice that comes from the past. And thank you, I’ll move one after another, it hasn’t realized from the outside but the inside is changing. The true confidence comes from honesty with oneself. And healing with happen, mastering the craft will happen, and love will happen in me and it will soften my heart, and establish my own foundation. Judgments are always going to happen and that shouldn’t be a reason to not do what I had fun creating, or else I will only postponed my own voice that waiting to be found. Thank you Reem!

Pile 3: are serious issues and they have traumatized me severly, yet the most horrific has been the indifference of society that just allows the system to remain unjust and brutal behind closed doors.
