I love that you've published for everyone to enjoy these awesome records of a lost way of life. This island, on the day you filmed it looks delightful.
I felt for Ray, I had recently retired after 24 years in the Navy and this woman I was sweet on announced she didn't want me telling 'sea stories' with my old military buddies. Being half my life at the time I knew it would be a problem.
Hello Peter, let me tell you that I´m new into this "Lighthouse adventure ", I recently started to like and getting interest into lighthouses and the life, stories of the keepers, and I discovered your channel very recently and I´m glad that you record every single Lighthouse you have been, it means a lot! I´m from Portugal which means we also have a lot of Lighthouses on the coast, I´m planning to visit all of them, thank you very much for your dedication, keep going, I learn a lot from you and people like you! Hugs!
Thank you very much for your kind comments, they mean a lot to me. Good luck on your Portugal Lighthouse journeys, hope all goes well for you. Take care, stay safe and welcome to my channel.
Hello Peter, thanks so much! I truly love your videos! WOW, what an incredibly beautiful lighthouse - the architecture and craftsmanship. Such great stories recounted by the Keepers. I have so much respect for your profession, the sacrifices you made and the danger you faced to save the lives of others! Poor Prince, what a trooper! Much respect also for the dear service animals like Prince we don't get to hear much about! Thanks again, Sir! GOD bless you and your family! ❤ 🙏
Thank you very much for your kind comments. Yes, Prince has gone into legend in the Lighthouse Service. Where possible, I prefer to put other Keepers voices and stories to my videos. Hope you have a great New year. Stay safe.
I was lucky enough to there about 15 years ago when there were still boat trips, although there were only a few a year back then. Great views of the Smalls from there.
Yes a really nice Island, I just wish that I could have stayed longer to do the Island justice, but a flying visit for a quick film. Cheers and take care.
