Interesting stuff on this video, I enjoyed it. At NYC Transit we don't have double-deckers, but drivers are paid extra for articulateds. And yes, electronic devices are banned here as well as they are considered to be distractions. I was never a bus driver. However during my last year working, I put my camcorder on the console of the train and did a POV, which is on my channel. Of course, I didn't post it on the channel until I was safely retired. Definitely, keep these videos coming. I'm enjoying them
Really enjoyed listening to all your questions and answers. And the best bit was when I heard you say you was born and bred in the Great East End of London mate. Its the best area in the world and Cockneys are second to none. Have a virtual gin n tonic on me. Maybe the company feels that driving and filming at the same time may cause a distraction, especially when you have so many people on the bus too. Anyway, you do such a brilliant job without it, and I've learned so much about bus drivers since I subscribed, so thanks. Now it's 10 mins to 4am so I'm gonna get some kip. Keep it up mate.
Yeah cockneys are the best! The company said they could be sued if people's faces or number plates are in the video and that I'm going against the electronics policy because a Go pro or dashcam is an electronic device. But thanks alot for comment!😊
Also the ‘LX59’ plated buses were the former D3 buses but the ‘LX11’ were formerly used on the 366 but then transferred from Barking (BK) garage. The LX11 has more of a nice sound and different seats whereas the ex-D3’s have a semi-circular shape on the seats and sound very old and different.
Thank you for answering my question! Maybe you should also try 262 or 473. 473 goes to North Woolwich and 262 goes Plaistow, Stratford Prince regent and also a few other places. The buses are also not that old (2018-2019) Hybrid wright street decks. Yeah so that’s what I would suggest

Bro be honest i felt like i was discriminated. When i had interview at WH My reading was. Not good. I passed everything writing. End of interview guy said I failed on my reading clearly said i had learning difficulties. On my application. Now got good job and good career .working for TW water Engineering since then never looked back 💯👌🏾🙂
They should've let you go through, they shouldn't have refused you on that grounds. There's people who don't speak good English yet they're driving so thats strange. I'm happy for you bro! How do you find it?

TfL and these Bus Companies are missing a big marketing opportunity by not letting you do POV. TfL are in need of Bus Drivers and this is free marketing for them so i dont understand why they wouldn't take up this opportunity. Reno's content is already attracting so many new drivers to join the workforce but there's still so much more potential to gain from POVs. Its hard to undertsand what its like to be a bus driver. Reno's vids are bringing such a spotlight to an industry that is often underappreciated. Reno is literally changing perceptions of what it is to be a bus driver. TfLs content/marketing team needs this Young Lad! He's the future! 🎉 Keep going Reno!
I completely agree! I don't understand why I can't do POVs. It's literally free promotion for them and like you said it could attract more drivers. But I was told the company could get sued and it goes against the electronics policy even though it's not a phone. But thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it!😊

@RennoHundred Im a medic, work in the ambulance service in west London but in my spare time I drive coaches for extra money. Do scheduled intercity work like Megabus. I used to be a full time bus driver in Glasgow when I was 18/19 years old.
Few Years ago My local young driver on 128 got sacked. Local passenger recorded him talking on the phone head phone on person sent it to TFL Arriva London spoke to another driver on 128 was my neighbour ask what happened to this driver he replied said he got sacked was on the phone talking he head phone on. I even witnessed him doing it. Few times I looked at him like get of your phone seen few young driver doing it. before
