I have to say, my annus horibilis began early on 29NOV21 and has continued to this point in time. Right now only a fire or death would be the last step of my journey. As long as those don't happen, it can only get better from here. I live in a 5th wheel trailer with 2 cats that I scooped up off the streets at different times. I have lost EVERYTHING I ever owned, my home, my belongings, my relationships, the accumulated treasure of a whole life. I have been freezing, roasting, hungry and scared but now I'm no longer alone. My girls keep me going, every day, all day. At times I truly believe if they had not happened to cry out where I could hear them, I may have not bothered to try to keep myself alive anymore. It would have been so easy, no more pain, ever. But they need to eat so I eat. They need to drink so I drink. They need fresh air and sunlight so we go outside regularly, which means I have to get up, I have to get clean and dressed, I have to be groomed and presentable in public. We can't attract attention or I may lose them so I keep everything in working order, keep our camp clean & neat, move on when asked. All of this just to tell you to hang in there. Find something, anything, every day that you can do to make tomorrow just a little bit better for you. Start small if you must but START. Every ocean, every body of water, the source and the wellspring of life on the planet, they all began with a single drop of water. You can do it, you got this, trust yourself again. I'm old, I am disabled, I'm on a LOT of medication including several antidepressants, I have been single for the past 33 years, I have few surviving relatives (none that I'm speaking to) and though my thoughts can become very dark, very often (yes, I have a psychiatrist), I find that I am not quite ready to jump ship just yet. You must try. Putting my soapbox away for the moment, sorry so long. I need to get out more, LOLOLOL!!
