I liked it when you said using too much brain power to a dishcloth. I never thought about crocheting that way but you are so right. After crocheting off and on for over 40 years, I am crocheting everyday now to calm my brain down. Since Covid I developed anxiety, ADD and other long Covid issues. But back to your statement, I use to be on top of everything and now using my brain is exhausting at times. So crocheting quick and easy helps sooooo much.
Hi Lisa! It’s nice to see you here. It is so true! Crochet is very relaxing to me and also helps me with my anxiety. That’s why when I do crochet, I don’t want to be stressed out about it and if I’m not enjoying the project, it gets set aside. I don’t want or need stress about the things I enjoy in life. good to see you again! I haven't been crocheting at all, I think I am overwhelmed by all the stuff I want to make. I've been playing with paper instead, much better for the hot weather.
