Well done. Right on point for you. The black midi with the slit is killer. Agree with you, the flouncy printed top is not your style. Immediately read wrong for you on screen. Too soft. Simple and fitted pieces are great.

I'm so surprised how much I love you in both midi dresses and thick strap sandals. I actually like them more than the mini tight/short items. I thought being petite you might look overwhelmed but no, not all you carry it perfectly. The leg split on the black one really elevates a simple black skirt. No wonder its a favorite. I"m guessing it could be styled up or down so easily too.

I think you are SG with romantic undercurrent. You look amazing in light fabrics + colour blocking . I think dark navy blue is gonna look amazing on you as well. I loved your video and outfits.

I felt that statement about avoiding midi-length skirts, though I'm not short. (I'm almost 5'4, thank you.) Basically, I've found my cuffs should end at a bendy-part: ankles, knees, wrists, elbows. That said, I love both the animal-print and the black midi dress on you! I also particularly love that last top on you.

The jeans with booties looks smashing also I love the black dress with buttons.

Hi Elyssa, Love your videos. Have been so inspiring. I have a video suggestion. I would really love to see a vintage aesthetic video. Not necessarily true vintage. More like vintage inspired but wearable in regular life.

I absolutely love the last three outfits on you especially, and I think you are right that they capture your essence. The fitted silhouette is definitely great on you. I think the grunge look of that orange tee is A+. I liked the long black dress a lot. I think it would look great with a wide-ish belt maybe in burgundy or another color that you like that contrasts well with it. The infamous top with flowers...I think it does suit your facial features and that's why we like it, even if it is not your style. I would try pairing it with your skinny jeans especially if you have more of a grunged up destroyed jean that could contrast with the girliness that you dislike and make it more edgy. I want to pair the first outfit with a high strappy black sandal and a cropped jacket or sweater, but...not so summery then. The short black dress as well, I want to see you tie a plaid shirt around your waist and wear your beanie...yeah, again not so summery. But hey, the good thing is that all of your outfits can easily transition to the fall!

I wish you would get Merriam style to do your color analysis!! She is amazing at all that stuff!! I would love to see what other colors compliment your skin tone! I like the leopard print dress but wonder if it would look more broken up with a belt?! Love all the outfits with the short skirts and loved the graphic tee on you!

You look great in all of these outfits 🥳 We are so similar in shape so this is extremely helpful. I have the same subtle/delicate curves with the rounded edges (and I even have the same hip dips, and DD-cup boobs that I struggle to accomodate). The only big difference is you look petite and short, and I am average height with slightly longer limbs. I used to get compared to Drew Barrymore a lot in college, I didn’t really understand why, but I guess it’s the body-configuration and the overall essence of softness. But for the longest time I thought I was SN (when I first discovered Kibbe 12 years ago). This will sound silly, but I used to think that you need large eyes, thick lips, a defined waist and wide, round hips to be a Yin type. I have none of those 4 attributes lol...I think aside from my boobs, my proportions and face look more ‘girlish’ than womanly, 36-year old ’Ingenue with boobs’ I guess...maybe this is why plunging necklines and showing cleavage look so wrong on me, and why I gravitate more towards minimalist/classic looks.

I wish I were able to see your pieces better. The bright light coming in the through the window is not showing your clothing to the best advantage. However, the design lines do look flattering. I think the midi length looks great on you, perhaps you just need to get used to it. Sorry to say, but, the short black skirt with the white stripes, the stripes are not lining up. I bought a skirt similar to yours but mine was floral. Unfortunately, the pattern did not match up so I wore it as a tube top under a sweater or blazer because I still liked the colour and pattern. I would like to see a re-make of this video so I can see better. I would love to see the first dress, especially, it looks very interesting.

I'm your height and like some midiskirts on me, just depends on the style, material, etc. just like every article of clothing. I like the ones you picked out on you :-) The black dress with buttons looks great, too, and you look so comfortable in it, which always makes something look better on a person! The jeans and boots outfit, too, but obviously that is the kind of thing you also already wear and know suits you well. The black and burgundy bodycon pairing last one as well. Nothing overpowers you but nothing is overly fragile or dainty where it seems like it wouldn't suit your vibe or style. I like the mustard shade on you and in past videos the teals and deep and softened deep blues you often wear. They really look great on you, and a lot of the earthy tones and deeper rich tones, you wear a lot of them in your "Type me!" video and featured in a lot of your different style videos. Sorry that was an unasked for comment, but hopefully you don't mind. :-)

Ok, PLEASE do not be offended by anything I have to say here, but I wanted to share my thoughts/opinions with you, and I mean well, with best intentions! 😊 I like your new things. You are very pretty, with a nice figure, so you can probably wear just about whatever you want anyway, but here’s my two cents: (Long comment)... I think the midi dresses (leopard slip dress and black sleeveless dress) are pretty on your figure, but that shoe (which you’ve already said you won’t wear with them) is not flattering. You need a shoe or sandal to show a more seamless line down your shin, ankles and feet, maybe a heel or flat that doesn’t have a wide band across your instep, which truncates the line. What about a heeled sandal that laces up your leg? Or are those out now? I’m not up on the latest trends. Or maybe a shoe in your flesh tone. Also, if you want, you can hem those dresses just a smidge to be more proportional to your frame, but I think they’ll look pretty on you as they are with the right shoe. The little short black button front dress is cute on you, and you can dress it up or down by accessorizing, a versatile piece, which is always great. Same with the other dresses, too, actually. I think the midis look more sophisticated. Again, with the short dress I’d like to see a heeled strappy sandal with straps that wrap up your leg (gladiators?) or even some tie on espadrilles. Something interesting but light that keeps skin showing on your feet rather than a heavy shoe. Make sure the back is not shorter than the front. Love the jeans and cami with the bootie! Great look on you! (They all look good). You could wear a strappy bootie for summer - I don’t know what they’re called - sort of woven, open summer booties, cross between sandals/booties. That would be cooler, but maybe it doesn’t get very hot where you live? Stripey skirt and cropped graphic T are cute on you as a casual go wherever look. I feel like you have an inherently more elegant, more sophisticated vibe than this look, however, even though you certainly have the frame to wear it well. I like the darker body con skirt with the black top much better on you! It has a more sophisticated look, a bit more of a mystique that suits you! Love that one for you. You do seem to have a bit more drama to your essence, which may be why the small floral print off shoulder top doesn’t feel right. The shape is good, but I don’t see that sweet print for you. It’s pretty, just not as edgy as I think you can shine in. 💕💕💕
