Born 29th of November, 1931 near Crosby, Liverpool. Former communications expert, linguist, dialectician, after-dinner speaker, paratrooper and novice monk. He combined comedy, in the finest Northern tradition, with serious topics during his innumerable talks and lectures.

Sadly, I too have just found out about his death. Heard this LP when I was very young and always wanted to buy it. In awe when he arrived to teach our class at Liverpool Poly. Great teacher, very funny man. RIP

I love this recording of Peter Maloney, my late father used to play it. Thanks for bringing back a wonderful memory of my dad! God bless Liverpudlians!!!❤️

47 years ago, I had the privieldge to have him as ... a lecturer in general studies @ Liverpool Poly. Utterly brilliant. I can still see him now. He even hypnotised on the the students. Sic transit gloria mundi.

I am a belated discoverer of the sad fact that the great Scouse oratatator Peter Desmond Moloney has been much deceased since September 2021 at the untender age of 89 being deprived of his 90th birthday. Rest In Speech and thanks for the laughs now and then. N.B this tribute contains made up words.
