@@ZSmith-yy4lv Right, and it's not like we're born with the knowledge of what chess pieces look like anyway lol, if you learned that you can learn this
@AdvancePlays the problem is that it isn't just one person that has to learn this. It's me and everyone else that I am going to ever play chess against. Have had a chess set with even more distinguishable chess pieces, but not the typical design, it can be a barrier to playing and having fun.
I love this guy's ideas so much, they are so creative. But, if I may, I suggest a plant where all the leaf stems are whiteboard markers, and the pot can lock into a whiteboard.
I have 6 and after seeing this wish to have 7. My favorite one rn is a portable set (folds in half) from East Germany which was one of many things my great grandfather smuggled to the States.
@@youssefbencheikh8637 the files are only useful if I have acess to a 3d printer 😅 it's awesome to see so many people design such incredible things for them, though
@youssefbencheikh8637 Some people don't want to purchase a computer purchase a 3D printer study how to 3D print, buy many filaments and then print a product and paint it. That will take me too much time and money. But thanks for the suggestion I know you were just being nice and trying to help.

Google tells me that it's forced as a rule (you can't play without en passant), but it's not forced as a move (you can choose a different move altogether).
I’d love that aside from the fact that I can’t even play basic digital chess bc I only know what the pieces are by their regular shape. Relearning what look can be what move is too hard when it’s already cemented into my brain
