I also write a lot about mental health, this new era of greater openness & inclusivity, is liberating. I'm an old fella, so really appreciate it. Plath is an inspiration. Have you read Gail Crowther's 'Three Martini Afternoons at the Ritz' (on Plath & Sexton & the poetics of the confessionals)? It's a marvellous bio.

I’ve got to reread some Virginia Woolf. I’ve read all of her novels but not since university so they’re a bit hazy!

I love these book hauls ugggggh. Yeah, why would they print the Book of English Magic like that? Annoying. I read Miss Julie years ago years ago, and I liked it but I don’t remember why lol ….. Virginia Woolf is my absolute FAVORITE. I had pretensions a few years ago, of creating a Virginia Woolf deck, that’s how much I love her. She means the world to me. She gets me. Committed is a must for me. I don’t remember if I mentioned in your last video, but I haven’t read the Bell Jar. I do own a copy though, and I’ve read a bunch of her poetry and loved it.
