There are plastic covers that aren’t that expensive, on the hobonichi website and from other companies, shops on Etsy. But a paper bag cover wouldn’t be a bad idea either!
You could get some clear Mac-tac sticker paper in a roll at any dollar store that can be used to cover the book up and would make it washable. You could clean the cover, stick some vinyl stickers on the cover then cover the whole thing in the clear Mac-tac making sure to wrap it around into the inside of the cover.
oh that's such a good idea i might do this! the cover is little hard to clean because the "dirt" (which is mostly just eraser shavings haha) is almost stuck into the cover, but i'm definitely going to give it a try!
it's an hp laserjet- just my family's printer so i don't know a lot about it but i've found printing in black and white helps a lot with conserving costs and does the job just fine in my journal!
Thank you for the video! It’s so refreshing to see a Hobonichi Cousin that’s primarily written word. Inspired by how consistent you were, and I similarly fell off of my Cousin during the spring due to international travel and some big life changes. Also curious what software you used to add the blur? I’ve wanted to make videos but don’t want to share everything online haha.
i'm so glad you enjoyed it! my entries are mostly text because i usually don't have a ton of fancy supplies or the creativity, but i like the concept that my journal is a testament to written journaling- it's a sweet thought. in terms of software, i use capcut to edit all my videos- unfortunately the steps to blur are a little repetitive and annoying as you have to duplicate each clip and move each individual blur every time, which is why i often end up blurring the whole page instead of smaller sections. i just looked up a youtube tutorial though, so there may be an easier way to do it. let me know if you start making videos, i would love to check them out!
Hi! About the pen: I also love UNI very much. I have 0.38 years. One I also got "defective". Pull out the rod and blow in its hole. You may have to repeat the procedure. I hope it helps.🙌
I’ve used vellum sheets and random vinyl stickers as covers for my Hobonichi cousin. I’ve also used the Galen Leather covers for my church notebook and daily planners.
