Another great upload Graham - all wonderful and a great variety though for me the Blackbird will be an indelible image. Face on, reaction to hearing his rival/neighbour, just a fraction away from actually reading his mind - a piece that'll forever be with me. Loved it, Si.

Kingfishers always remind me of my dad, I saw my first with him along the River Severn in Worcester. You saw some of our most beautiful birds, young female kingfisher, Jay, song thrush and even blackbirds which to me are all stunning. The blackbird also has one of the most beautiful songs and yet is so often overlooked. The snipe look quite bold there, it’s unusual to see them so far out in the open. You were also blessed with some of the most beautiful water foul not least of all the gorgeous gadwall and tufties. We Brits, especially the English, dismiss our wildlife and being bland and boring. If people had to stop and look they wood realised we are very blessed with some beautiful creatures. Another stunning video, I'm really glad you are on RU-vid showing the world we do have beautiful wildlife. Thank you Graham,

I agree totally Mark, anyone who calls British wildlife bland an boring must have their eyes closed, we have such diversity in the UK and what could be better than listening to the song of a male Blackbird singing on warm spring evening. Many thanks for your always kind and inspiring comments, much appreciated:-)

Graham Barker Should I correct my 'wood' to 'would' or just leave it there? I was watching a woodworking video straight before yours, that’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it!

Thanks Graham. So nice to sit and relax with your videos. I have a question if you can find the time to answer. Are the Canada Geese native or were they introduced? Also I say for everyone who watches these Thanks for taking us along. We are blessed to have such beauty shared with us. Y'all take care now.

michaelzonephotos Thanks very much Michael, Canada Geese aren’t native to the Uk they were introduced but are now a very common sight, once again thank you for your very kind comments:-)

That is one rotund wood pigeon at the 2 minute mark. Beautiful shots of the Kingfisher, I could and have in the past sit and watch them for hours. Always a treat to spot one. Amazing fact about the Jay using the ants like that too. Great stuff as always. Can I ask have you got anything going on in your own garden ? I remember seeing a previous video of birds nesting in and around it. Thanks for the vid. Take care, Mark. 👍🏻

Many thank fro your kind comment. With regards the garden Blackbirds built a visible nest but didn't use it but I think they chose another hedge in the garden. In 2017 they built a highly visible nest and fledged 4 young successfully, I made a film following their progress but it got disappointing views and last year they used the same hedge to nest in but their 2 chicks were predated. We also have a lot of spawn in the pond and a good amount of House Sparrows nest in the hedges, thanks again:-)
