On March 24th, 2005, North America saw the release of the Sony PSP, a handheld game system that blew its competitors out of the water in terms of graphical power and capabilities. As with its console big brother, the PS2, the PSP had a quite large lineup at launch, coming in at 23 games. In this video, we’ll take a look at all 23 of them and see if the system was worth picking up at launch.

Some notes:
- When I mention the sound effects being better for the PS1 version of Ape Escape, I'm referring specifically to the sounds you hear in game, not the voice acting. I don't think voice acting is normally considered to be a sound effect, but some people seem to think that's what I was talking about.
- I am aware that I mixed up the analog stick and d-pad animation during the Rengoku segment. I unfortunately didn't notice this until the day after I uploaded the video. I have a fixed version, but until RU-vid does the right thing and lets channels revise their videos without making a new upload, there's not much I can do.
