I have been to many international airports in my life but my motherland has made me proud in constructing such a wonderful experience for World travellers. If Modiji continues we would see our India prosperous. May God bless our Government and our citizens ...Jaihind
Plants remind me of Singapore Airport. Bangalore Airport has come a long way since my first International travel from HAL site , when literally had to escape from mosquito bites. Love the Bamboo Architecture and tech to maintain 6 lakh plants!
honestly some of these asian airpots are so beautiful lik singapore seoul mumbai and now Bengaluru. As someone living in America, I am saddened by many of our airports which are just terrible with horrible maintence, crumbling infra. and overcrowding and slow renevations. Its apalling and these asian countries are a benchmark for wonderful airports with sustainability in mind.
@@divyar4953 had the most horrible experience at Earth lounge in kochi ,n no continuous buses to move from airport to City ,had to wait till afternoon for a bus.. coz there wernt any buses ,lounge wont accept the best of the best credit cards ,jst so they cn make gud money by denying cards with free lounge access , architecture n style is good but facilities quiet poor..
Wow! That's amazing - looks better than many airports in the western countries. I appreciate the Indian government for prioritizing the concept of sustainability.
What a beautiful airport. That hanging garden omg! I think i need to visit india once more to check this wonderful architecture 😅 Congrats from indonesia!
When the true essence of Bangalore combines in a place ...you will definitely see this. ---- Nature( Garden City, lakes) , Art ( rich heritage, palaces, silks, craft ) , and Technology ( Tech Hub, not just IT)
Swanky terminal indeed! But commutes to BIAL from most parts of the city is an ordeal of epic proportions. By road, airport-silk board or electronics city during peak hour will take a minimum of 3 hours. Bumper-to-bumper traffic at the Hebbal flyover, a key junction on the way to the airport, is the norm. Metro connectivity is expected to take another 3 years at least--and even when it's up and running, will benefit only a certain section of the city. But the fix we needed, the suburban rail, has been sidelined. This option didn't require much of land acquisition and costs to set up. Wonder when our administrators will rectify this.
Hmmm. Correct me if I'm wrong, but all this amazing display is for those departing from BLR. Arriving passengers are made to go through the duty-free stores, and then leave. I don't believe those passengers get to see all this gleam and glamor. But that said, yes, my wife and I were at BLR taking a departing flight and saw all these grand creations. This terminal puts every terminal in Europe to shame. To say that the terminal is beautiful is an understatement.
As a Chennaite can only envy and cry for the AAI which is building and going to be managing the Chennai airport. Held up behind in the old leftist thoughts and poor workmanship.😢
@Avengers Chennai is still the 3rd busiest in terms of International arrivals... And nothing is there?? Really bro? Chennai is still the heart of South India. Almost every single South Indian celebrity has a mansion in heart of chennai
Karnataka is back to its clownery now 😔😔 by electing congress for their freebies' promotion. Basically, except freebies nothing is happening in Namma Bengaluru now, it's becoming worse and more dangerous, more prone to accidents@@p007t
Process is underway for Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai Egmore, Vizag, Tirupati ..expected to be completed in 2-3 years. 75 stations are under planning . Please check Rail Ministers RU-vid channel.
People travelling in the trains are responsible for the poor condition of railway station in India they just don't understand where to throw their trash and how to use things provided without destroying them
I think it dethrones Mumbai t2 as coolest airport in India. But Navi Mumbai airport's design is better Meanwhile delhi airport's design is a joke now and even jewar airport looks conservative.
This is already among top 3 Airport in the world. Once phase 2 is done with 1 million square meters of outside garden , it would be number one airport in the world. No airport in the world has this big green space and water bodies .
@@a9a9d are you seriously suggesting that once phase 2 will be completed, it will overtake Changi? Bro, take a flight to Changi and see for yourself. It’s simply not possible. Best part is, Changi is going to construct their terminal 5 in 2 years time.
I was hoping that T2 will actually solve handling the growing traffic of flights to and fro Bengaluru. But the last two times I landed at T2 from international flight I saw similar huge crowd and delay at baggage collection as compared to T1. It was nowhere close to Mumbai or Delhi which seemed more spacious and relaxed at the baggage collection point. large duty free and scenic trees and plants is just good for photography but they should solve for handling large volume of flights and passengers. I hope what they have opened is just a part of T2 and more is yet to come
Madam for your information it's engineered bamboo. And it's highly protected for fire, there are lacks of quick response sprinklers inside it. It will not get fire.
How are the other facilities: 1. Toilets 2. WiFi 3. Restaurants 4. Enough seating 5. Phone charging 6. Internet without Indian phone number 7. Drop off and pickup convenience 8. Gates connectivity 9. Information boards 10. Kids play area
@@rvsmanohar we got new expressways, vande bharat, metro, airports, seaports, ram mandir, 370, startups, pro business govt, self reliant defence, UPI and safer india. I'm very happy indeed. I don't blindly hate any govt.
if you are so much concerned then have you ever went to any public or social platforms to address this issue or just voice out under youtube comments. First speak out then see if govt works or not
Infrastructure boom under Modi government. Really commendable bcz directly or indirectly it's the base of development + indianisation/saffronisation is must to counter ideological supervision we were forced upon by britisher sand their brown sahebs. Let's pledge everyone we will work every penny for our bharat. #bear your responsibility as a citizen Let's be where we belong to. #ViswaGuru
The reason why I love Kannadigas is that even though they have come this far in development, industrialization, etc. in their state becoming the top 5 contributors of the Nation's overall GDP, you guys feel proud of your language, your culture and have been preserving it so well. Even in the schools, a student is required to learn Kannada till his primary education either as a third or as a second language. My sister is currently learning Kannada in her primary school. It's a beautiful language, must say.
I am kannadiga from untouchable kannada family. So, nice video. To build this airport, i was being abused and i was abused for 34+ years though i have never been on any airvehicles. Genocide of untouchables.
Hindi is required. We from other states of India cannot understand regional languages and we expect sign boards in both Hindi and English. First preferece should be given to regional language and then English and Hindi. See our Telangana. We always accomodate Telugu, English and Hindi.
Excellent job by GOI - but what about maintenance ? History tells these excellent constructions last a few months only - after about two or three months these buildings will be in a pathetic condition due to poor maintenance-
While the city lacks the basic infrastructure for anyone coming to live a quality life all this seems to me a showoff and eyewash to our guest visiting the city no matter how amazing the airport may look.
You are right but the current infrastructure is old so the govt is making sure that the new infrastructure projects are world class, old infra won't be replaced or maintained unless the govt has overflowing money or there is emergency,so atleast appreciate the govt when they do something good as we also criticize when something goes wrong.
@@Foxy-rc7ij You said it right but missplaced & pointing the wrong direction we already have a well built airport and everyone saw what happen during monsoon the city was waterlogged and claim innocent lives, houses and well established societies were flooded, road conditions are bad and accidents happen, at night streets and main roads are badly lit, commuters (who have lived generations here) are left at the mercy of the metro work (earlier it was the flyover construction), flyovers need maintenance, repairs and beautification, traffic conditions needs to improve, roads need to be cleaned to remove debri, dust & sand accumulated along the side of the roads instead the authorities are busy pouring in fancy money in beautification work project that don't need immediate attention. What a shame!
@@magnet0363the airport needed expansion because of congestion and it was upgraded under udan scheme and this is happening all over India, also I agree with what you said but i am not sure why but this problem of water logging and bad roads exist all over India but i have seen the new roads and other infra is being well planned i live in Delhi the new part of Delhi looks so beautiful that you wouldn't believe it's India, but where i live the roads are broken and sewers overflow during monsoon.
