I’m a manager and the Middleton is what I use in my office on a daily basis and everyone loves it! The looks, the sound, the portability! Top tier. I don’t know if I’d use it for parties or loud volumes, but in an office environment with low to medium volume it delivers!
I have a first gen Acton, it sounds amazing. I love the tonality and the soundstage is ridiculously good. When I stay at the right spot in a somewhat decent room that thing blows my mind every single time, feels like a live concert.
Your review of the Bose Flex got that little guy on my radar. I got in the store and played it against the Emberton 2 and the Charge 5 and damn was I Impressed. In comparison, the Charge 5 sounded muddy and the Bass of the Emberton just couldn't compete. And I got the Bose. Never thought I would buy Bose, but I'm in love with this speaker. Thank you for your Videos. Keep them coming 💗
@@Javier03Li I played it in the store at low to mid volume, so you might be absolutely right about high volume. My verdict comes from the comparison of these 3 speakers. Which doesn't mean I would call the Charge 5 a muddy speaker in general, but noticeable muddy in my experience, when you have a direct listen to the two mentioned other ones. I hope that helps to understand my conclusions better.
My god you have a lot of speakers...i envy you! I recently bought Marshall Woburn 3 and i am amazed by it's sound specially the clarity and the bass. And i didn't see much reviews online before buying...because I listened to it directly at a store and bought it. But when I see your videos i feel that my decision was good...in a sense that there is no other speaker i could have bought which is better than Woburn 3.
I really loved your take on the speakers you have. You got my full attention when you mentioned your fondness for the Marshall woburn 3.Just got one 2days ago. Love the sound. You sealed it for me.
Thanks for your suggestions Danny pops. I was confused between stanmore 3 and acton 3. But, ur reviews greatly helped me to decide between two. Now I have placed my order for acton 3. NOTE: u r one of the best reviewer of speakers. ❤
I liked the video when thinking about future purchases to make sure my speaker memory catalog is up to date to remember which versions have what features and design differences.
Thanks for all of your detailed reviews! I bought Emberton 2 because of you, but the bass wasn't enough for me so I will return it tomorrow. I am planning to buy Acton 3..
There is not much new out there your channel is awesome always look for your videos thanks for all you do. The Wonderboom 3 came out with 2 new colors spruce green and violet I have same one you do but not usb c I have 2 grey and pink.
Hey Danny! long time no see from me,haha. I think you also forgot to mention the UE Hyperboom, from what i can remember from your collection, or did you return/sell it?
Hey Danny. I have been searching for 2 speakers (1 for my parents & 1 for my wife + me. Came across your videos & loved them. Your videos are so easy to watch. I gifted a bose flex to my parents (chose bose over emerton as Bose was a sort of dream in our home), mainly based on your reviews. For 2nd speaker, upgrading from Sony XB10 (its sound output was low). We are not audiophiles, neither bass lovers. Casual users & like balanced sounds. Usage:: 60% movies on laptop, 40% music, 100% indoors. This is what I have shortlisted at the prices we are getting here in India, Tribit micro 2 ($60), wonderboom 3 ($70), tribit xsound go (~35), tribitmaxsound plus (~55), flip 6 (~130), flip 5 (~90). If you had the time to go through this, what would you recommend. Thanks a lot :)
thanks so much for watching and supporting me! I think if i were looking for a best bang on those selected speakers - I'd lean towards the Tribit Micro 2 for the price to sound quality (on par with bose for value). The flip 5 to me is a much better value than the flip 6 (they sound extremely similar). The others I think don't offer quite as good a value as those two.
I really want a Wonderboom 3 for some reason. But I have a Soundlink Flex and it’s brilliant. I really don’t like a huge JBL logos, it would put me off.
Hi Danny, I’ve been watching your videos for quite some time now and still can’t make up my mind. Which speaker would you recommend for a turntable in house/party vibes?
Love your reviews your right it has to look good I returned the earfun it was boring I’m tired of the cylinder looking speakers I hope JBL puts out a different style when it’s time you need to get shelves for your speakers that Tribit max not good Middleton too pricey
This is a really good collection. Before purchasing my Emberton I searched for any sound test videos of Homepod mini vs Emberton. I understand they are specifically different but still. Have you ever tried sound of these two?
Tribit is good but after actively using it and a few bumps and drops you will hear distortion and scratching sounds progressively getting worse. Its not a sturdy speaker
34:20 ha ha about the power cable ha. I hate when that happens ha ha . dig the channel! from mtw in L.A. del rey california musician and music enthusiast.
hey, Danny! thank you for your videos, I really like watching this stuff. I would be really pleases if you could answer to one my question. whats the better choice: to buy marshall woburn III or 2 actons III and use them as a stereopair of speakers? I really want to buy some stuff for my not a big room that I could use as computer speakers and also to listen to music on that from my mobile, and its difficult for me to choose between those two options that I can afford to myself. I would be really pleased if you have given your opinion, thats important for me. thank you for your videos, I bought marshall emberton 2 to myself as my birthday present instead of my jbl flip 4, and I'm really satisfied with it sorry, if I've mistaken with something in this comment, I'm not the english native speaker, so I'm only studying this language
Hey Dan I got the middleton My thoughts are that its missing mid (voice ) clarity. Im thinking of going to a acton even though its not wireless. Do you think i will find the clarity im looking for in the acton series ? I know you like the 3 from your past reviews but i dont own the 1. Sooo that beeing said Could the acton 2 be a good buy? Its on sale now in canada? Thx for the content btw!
Hey DannyPops where is the Green Bang & Olufsen Explore speaker you bought it was a lovely looking addition and the Bang & Olufsen A1 beosound you had to ? 😊
Hi, I have a Kilburn 2 portable speaker currently. And I am looking to stack up another Marshall speaker along with it to play songs on both the speakers. Can you please help clarify which all Marshall speakers are compatible to be stacked together with Kilburn 2?
I wish they would update the design on the soundcore motion plus it is boring thanks for the tour of your speakers no SONYS OR JBL’s they are my favorites like Marshall is yours.
@@DannyPops your one of the best speaker reviewers out there it comes natural to you your view points I feel are spot on I have quite a collection of these speakers new hobby since retirement I have a lot of Sonys on the XB line ups the new XG300 is good just have to crank the eq up where as JBL AND MARSHALL ARE GREAT OUT OF THE BOX. Look forward to your next video.
Hi Sir thank you for your review. Whats the best small size speaker for podcast listening?i mean like clearest vocal among ur small size speaker to listen to. Hope u could help me with this thank you so much!..
Hey Danny! I was on your stream the other day and you said I should leave a comment I just got the new Klipsch Promedia Heritage 2.1 For 200$ it blows any Marshall speaker out of the water in my opinion. With the dedicated 8 inch subwoofer the bass can get insane plus having two bookshelf-esque speakers makes the sound quality so nice. Just my opinion though
