The thermal is awesome, i have a good thermal scanner and its amazing what i see now compared to the night vision i use. I haven't got a thermal scope myself but I'm thinking I'll need to get one now after using the scanners.
They are a good thing, and it does seem the more you spend, the better things get. That’s the way it goes with these things. As much as I would like the more advanced (read: expensive) things, there are economic realities us mere mortals face. I’m sure I’ll make something out of what I’ve got. It seems everyone raves about thermal, and night vision seems to be that forgotten cousin. I like the idea of it, and I reckon it’s definitely worth a go. And, thanks for the support Mate. Cheers.
It’s actually going OK. It’s a budget outfit, so you can’t expect miracles, but it all seems to work fine. Actually going to sight tomorrow on a 17 HMR or WSM to chase a few foxes where big guns are NOT the go. Also setting up a Thermal Monocular mounted next to the spotlight to be used in lieu of the spotlight, and that should really change the game.
