Maybe wouldn’t have gone with a rebuild, would likely not have finished 32nd after going to cup final, wouldn’t have drafted Slaf, Hutson, Fowler…

I would move Barron, not Mailloux.

100%. But even in a package Barron isn’t getting you the offensive talent you need, Mailloux could with the potential he has. If we don’t have Hutson, Mailloux is untouchable and the inverse is true, but as it is one of those could be the guy that brings back a ppg player. Now I’m not saying I want that. I’m just saying if you’re the gm and you see a way to address a glaring need buy dealing from a position of strength, then that’s something they might consider.

@THEFIX709 you can make up the talent difference between barron and Logan by adding in the 1st round picks from Calgary and Winnipeg

@@THEGDBI’d say you’d need at least that to bridge that gap of potential, but I’m obviously down with being able to make the moves needed to boost the offence while also keeping Reinbacher, Hutson, Guhle, Mailloux and Xhekaj, but it just doesn’t seem likely. And we definitely need to brace ourselves for that reality and accept it when it happens.

@shmitzysays I fully agree we are trading a really good defenseman possibly 2 , there's only 6 spots available and we have way more then 6 dmen deserving spots . I hate to but savard has to go , even if you keep guhle on the right, your left side is packed already with Matheson ,Hudson and arber . Right side of guhle , Logan and reinbacher .

Personally I wish and hope that the Leafs make no change at all. We like them like they are right now, which is failing miserably in the playoff and seeing them going absolutely no where

The process to make the Habs a contender is a few more years in the making. So each drafts and off seasons should be a step by step process. This draft and off season is the time to make space on defense for Hudson and Mailloux. So Honda Civic, Harris gotta go…. Mailloux will take one-two season in the NHL, but he will replace Matheson with more grit. So I see Mathewson play one more full year in MTL. Strubble can replace Savard so Savard goes at the trade deadline, giving 3/4 season for savard to mentor Hudson.

I wouldn't trade Gule I see him becoming the leader/veteran on our blue line when savad and Matheson are gone.

Look guys I keep saying it !!! 4×1ons for celliebrini !maybe add barron ! But that is the most logical play ! Gives you and extra year with our d probleme 😂 and we got prospects and choices we can evaluate and trade ! But with celliebrini we have a star for 10 years !! That's what we need ! That or Jason Robertson from dallas ! Those are the moves we need to make !!!

I personally wouldn't trade guhle but I could see montreal trading him for a top line forward though they'd need to add a piece or two on top of that. Mind you I would be afraid of a drouin/sergachev situation man is sergachev good I had dreams about him playing with weber my god what a pairing that would have made but in reality it was a nightmare trade. I would sooner consider trading their first round pick for a top six forward especially if all the best forwards are gone at the time they pick. Cheers boys

I would package up barron ,next year's 1st , Winnipegs 1st and calgarys 1st , plus a forward prospect for the missing forward for our top 6 . Would 3, 1st round picks and barron get it done? Would the ducks take that package for zegras?
