Thank you, Germany and Britain. More tanks are coming from Canada, Poland, Finland, Portugal, Spain, etc. I'm glad the U.S. is sending Abrams tanks, but disappointed we didn't get this done sooner. As currently announced, they won't arrive until the fall. I have to admire the courage of these soldiers fighting for their homeland, their independence and their way of life. Salute!

The machine gun that is seen in the trench footage is the Degtyaryov LMG, or DP-27 (you can tell by the 47-round circular pan magazine that attaches to the top of the gun). By modern day standards, that thing is a dinosaur and has been in use since the Spanish Civil War.

Agree. The question about escalation to nuclear weapons was out-of-context, non sequitor and simply the construction of a strawman question. In point of fact, the Russians have used but a small proportion of their conventional military power. Thus, CBS should ask a real question: would you be ready if the Russians were to use a far larger caliber thermobaric weapon, larger than the TOS-1a? The Iskander SRBM has a thermobaric warhead option that has 15 times greater explosive impact than a single TOS-1a rocket and so far the Russians have not used this option which remains part of their wide array of conventional standoff weapons that Ukraine simply does not have.

As like quoted some article on the newspaper, it is the reason why the modern tank of automatic 21c system. These soldiers are saying the truth - Ukrainians are highly motivated and trained, they only need our military aid in order to win this war. While russians have a large number of troops and weapons, we've got to focus on technologies and provide everything we can to Ukraine.
