I was in the Air Force in Washington, DC and I remember when the Lakers and Jerry West won their 1st NBA Championship. I had a date that evening and listened to the game on radio.

I’m so sad! I grew up in S. California watching Jerry playing with the Lakers. He and Elgin Baylor were the true greats of the game. Jerry has been a big part of my life. To lose both Jerry & recently Bill Walton has been very difficult for me. May God look after both of them.
