If you know me then you might know that I competed in professional rock crawling many many years ago. Now we decided to step back into it with a 20 year old rig and see how we do in the World Extreme Rock Crawling Championship Western Series Finals in Goldendale, Washington. This video will give you a little insight to the inner workings of competitive rock crawling and how "spotting" really got started in the offroading community. I still love Bleepin Jeep, but man, I’m so glad that you have your own channel. Your content rocks! It’s so fun to see you and Shanna having so much fun. Shoshone falls was the last place I traveled with my grandfather before he passed..as beautiful as it is I have mixed feelings about it...He had a heart attack shortly after. we had a small YT channel doing his bucket list items.... R.I.P. Bob Canfield. 1927-2022

Great job Colt and team! 1st place is incentive to hit up all of the competitions and progress classes. (make sure to film and publish them) I loved the content and great camera work and editing. I think you probably have double or triple the footage so you should make a long version of that video. We're living vicariously thru you and the team.

I did the 1999 warn rock crawling championship in Johnson Valley in a 66cj5 on 35's did not place but that hooked me into the sport. Then Montrose Colorado Lascrusas and back to the hammers in a cj7 on 1 tons. Thanx for the awesome content and all you bring to the Brotherhood#!

That's a beautiful trip I would recommend stopping at the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center at 22267 Hwy. 86, Baker City, OR 97814. From I-84, take Exit 302 to Hwy. 86 and travel east (away from town) 4 ½ miles. The interpretive center driveway will be to your left.

Congrats on 1st place. I’d seen some of this done at Trail Hero, but this is on a whole other level. Would really like to come out next month and see this in person. Some observations. Rick is one hell of a spotter, and having that mesh for the floorboards has got to be really helpful in seeing what’s going on with the front tires.

Thanks for visiting my home town of Twin Falls, ID. Locals don't pronounce the E on Shoshone. Don't know why. Spring is the best time to see Shoshone Falls when there is high water flow.

Colt, investigate Rory's buggy brakes. Two pedals makes a lot of sense. But I suppose with a clutch that may not work. It works famously well for an automatic.

Question: can the spotter carry a staff? Basically a pole that could be used to show where the cone is. The spotter would put the staff with in a few inches of the cone and then the driver could see where the cone is.
