As a Canadian who grew up in the 60s and 70s I watched 60 Minutes U.S. gaining knowledge and insight into our southern neighbours. I was thrilled when the internet introduced me to the Australian version and have learned much more about the country, citizens and its place in the world. Huge thanks to all who've toiled diligently all these years to keep us informed and better educated through your work.

As an American, I have gotten to know Ms. Hayes through this channel and her reporting. I have the highest respect for her tenacity and her reporting. She has shown that she is not only willing to ask the really hard questions but also fight for what is right and bring attention to the people and causes that need attention. I wish continued success to her, not only in her reporting career but in all things. She has worked hard for them. I will say that bringing up her age seemed a little ageist to me. If it were one of your gentleman colleagues, it would not be mentioned or made a big deal about.

Liz Hayes is an incredible journalist. I still remember watching the story she did about her father’s death and the investigation. Heartbreaking. Having Tara Brown conduct the interview was an excellent choice!!

I first discovered 60 Minutes approximately two years ago and it was Liz Hayes doing the interview. That woman captivated me with her poise, passion and conviction to what she was doing, and I felt her love for her job and how down to earth she seemed. I've been a fan ever since.

Im not even from Australia (the Netherlands) and don't have much interest in the news since it's usually awful to watch and hear, but Tara Brown and Liz Hayes are two iconic women to me and I enjoy anything they serve, such good reporters and so much heart ❣ Thank you for all you've done and I hope to see you for many more years to come! 🙏

Now THESE women are role models I hope my daughter look up to. Liz and Tara are one of the reasons I watch 60 minutes, another is, it makes me feel closer to Australia, the country I was born and raised in until 16, and still consider my home. Huh. I have loved 60 Minutes Australia and these two professional journalists for years. I didn’t realize that we Canadians gravitate towards it. I love their thorough, factual, unbiased, tenacious reporting with a big dose of compassion, humanity and dignity for those about whom they report.

Tara Brown's interviews, how calm, cool, collected, but deadly, relentless, fearless and unforgiving, made me developed an extreme and deep respect, as well as deep fear of her, id never want to find myself on the opposite chair facing her intimidating questions. I love 60 Minutes with Liz Hayes, and have as deep a respect for her. But it's Tara Brown's story I'll be waiting for. I hope Liz can tell it when the time comes!
