A look through the Items from Metroid 

I wanted to bring mention to some power ups I forgot to mention in the video. -Difussion Missiles in Metroid Fusion increase the freezing radius of your missiles -Hyper Ball in Prime 3 allows the Morph Ball to expel of rays Phazon -Hyper Missiles in Prime 3 are basically super fast Phazon Super Missiles -Hyper Grapple in Prime 3 is just basically the Grapple Voltage... but with Phazon -Gravity Boost in Prime 2 basically allows Samus hover under water (I covered this in the Armors video because it felt more as an upgrade tied only to her armor and functions as a Gravity Suit) Apologies for not talking about these items, sometimes one can forget to add things into the script.

Yes, the "difficulty" space pirates had recreating the morph ball. I will never forget that log entry in Metroid Prime when they gave up after making space pirate distorted pretzels. Morbid humor at its finest

I will always remember that the annihilator beam was changed to "eclipse beam" in the Italian version that I played of Echoes. It made the thing sound cooler, in my opinion.

Honestly, the power grip kinda makes sense. In water the suit straight-up sinks, so its gotta be heavy. It really doesn't scream "robot ninja". I could be ABSOLUTELY retarded and be wrong but, eh, ITS MY OPINION DAMMIT

The Spider Ball from Metroid II was definitely the power-up that drew me into the world the most. It's slow and contemplative, which suits the atmosphere, and leaves Samus vulnerable to attack (and thus at risk of falling). The award for cutest power-up goes to the Morph Ball. The most overpowered power-up is the Charge Beam, which unbalanced Super Metroid somewhat by making Missiles redundant in combat. Shout out also to the Space Jump for being such a cool concept.

The speed booster is my favorite powerup. It's like a generic superpower, but also more badass.

Im so happy to finally find a nice metroid channel. This game holds so much sentimental value. Cant wait to watch more of your videos too! ^^

i like ot mention some people think the morphball is a substitute for crawling but really i doubt crawling in a suit like samus's is simple and the holes seen in prime are small, plus samus can go forward and backwards in the morphball without inpeded movement but hte power grip, well heavy armor i guess, and she loses that before metroid 2.....well lets consider the remakes cannon so she loses it before super metroid and fusion her suit is lighter in a concept of using energy as a projectile that is a case of either you are using an energy cartridge or overall unlimited shots but this is chozo tech, and if you try to bring up prime 2 those weapons are lunamoth tech and were still a work in progress as according to lunamoth's lore that the dark and light beams are useful yet work in progress, but shame not getting all ammo expansion doesnt give you unlimited shots

I may have an explanation as to why the Ice Beam freezes enemies in midair, cold temperatures are just heat escaping the area (the "area" in this case is the enemy), and if heat is radiating downwards then theoretically wth a lot of video game logic, it would keep enemies from falling.

Metroid is a series that doesn't get enough recognition on RU-vid I'm happy to see that your channel is all about it that's why I'm subscribing today!!

Remember the wave beam and Spazer are different in attacking too. The Spazer if one of the beams hit all 3 will. But the Wide beam Carries on if one of it's "circles" hits something to potentially hit more enemies at once

I like to collect stuff from Metroid, Godzilla, the Fantastic Four and Crash Bandicoot. But since i’m not 18 years old, i still can’t buy on online store, so i mostly pick what i see on retail stores.

The MP3 Varia Suit Figma is indeed beautiful. I own one myself, and it's the first and only Figma I have. Also kind neat how you intertwined talking about the figure with the script. I liked that a lot.

This is two years late, but the most iconic thing in her arsenal, to me, aside from her viara suit\power suit, is her screw attack, as it is the franchise logo\emblem.

The power grip is more well known than the screws attack? How dare you! Federation member confirmed!

The Splatoon music in the background is great as I love both Metroid and Splatoon

You forgot to mention that the spiderball let's you climb almost *any* surface in Return of Samus/Samus Returns. That is when the spiderball was at it's best.

I think you missed that missile from Metroid Fusion that did the swirling thing that froze enemies Kind of like the Diffusion Beam, but 2D and for the Missiles

Metroid Prime: Hunters Deathmatch mode, the ORIGINAL hero shooter

You forgot the diffusion missle upgrade in fusion. That's the one where when you charge your missile and release it's sends out a freezing circle of ice. Useful for when you have a lot of enemies or just something you need to freeze that is out of reach. But otherwise I loved the video man. I love Metroid so watching these videos and seeing other fans is always entertaining

Spoiler for the trailer and treehouse gameplay of. Metroid Dread! In the trailer we see the first E.M.M.I (not broken) can climb any wall and after you kill it you’ll probably get the spider grip thingy that makes you able to climb blue surfaces. The green boy (second emmi) can crawl into small spaces, you’ll probably get the morph ball from it ! Another Emmi from the trailer (the yellow boy) seems to be able to run around at the speed of sound, and you guessed it ! You’ll getthe Speed booster from it !! I’m sooo hyped for the speed booster in Metroid Dread !! It wasn’t in samus returns and i missed it...

The wide beam has different properties to the Spazer as Spazer will stop if it hits an enemy where the 3 shots of the wide beam have their own hit boxes. Great video tho love your content so far!
