A LOST Wolf Pup Wanders Away?! 🐺 WOLF QUEST: TWIN MOONS • #23 

I think she knows that Personiphe has the loner trait, but she's putting it into the story.

The dream Achellies had was very interesting if you ask me, first he saw two adults wolves together, then a lone puppy in the woods, then a wolf pack being carried away by crows over a fire, then two wolves together in front of a beautiful valley, then an elk herd around a road. I feel like this could mean something. So I’ll give my best theory! The adult wolves together I think represent how he sees himself with Pershephone, then he begins thinking about what could happen if she continues to be apart from the pack and he loses the puppies, (Aka the lone pup and crows taking him and his family away). He then remembers what they have been through together, meeting on the edge of a cliff and seeing the beautiful view as they fall in love hunting elk together across Yellowstone, and more. He then wakes with a feeling of mixed dread and determination.

Here's my personal idea of persephones backstory: Persephone was born into a very large litter of pups. She was the runt and always had to scavenge the littlest scraps of food from her siblings. Her mother and father were struggling to provide for the pack and it wasn't long until persephones mother fell deeply ill from exhaustion and hunger. To keep his mate alive Persephones father made the tragic decision to take persephone, one of her weaker brothers, and a sister who had also fallen ill to an abandoned den and left them to fend for themselves. After a few long days and nights of waiting for their parents return, howling, whimpering and cowering in the den they gave up hope on their family. All three being extremely hungry decided to venture out and try to find some food. Persephones weak and extremely ill sister could not keep up with the others and was lost to them likely picked off by another predator. Persephone and her brother continued to struggle alone finding small scraps and bones to keep them fed enough to survive. After sometime of wondering and scavenging the two siblings were found by a lone dispersal female. This female took interest into persephones young brother and starter to bring him food from her own kills however, anytime Persephone tried to eat she would be growled at and pushed away by the dispersal. One night persephone woke to find her brother missing. She howled and tried to sniff him out but a storm that had begun to roll in quickly washed away any traces of scent away. Persephone was now alone, never to find her brother or any other members of her old pack. Surviving all odds by using her caution and tricks she learned from scavenging she eventually grew into a strong beautiful adult wolf. Mating season was approaching and persephone felt the pull to start a family of her own however she could never shake the coldness in her heart and struggled to be confident enough to pursue a mate. This was when she met her future mate Achellies. A runt of his own once she continued to shy away and continue her lone trail but achellies knew he could get her to warm up to him if he just kept pursuing her. This was the first time another wolf actually took interest in her and so after a long period of persuasion persephone decided to finally give him a chance. With this backstory its understandable that persephone would be extremely weary of her pups especially after having so many and would struggle to get past her trauma and her cautionary, loner attitude she has grown accustomed to.

Persephone definitely is a full Loner and Cautious Personality. Loner means she would prefer to be alone rather than interact with other wolves/she'll also prefer to eat alone, and as a cautious wolf she doesn't really instigate fights or attacks. She might have had good diversity, but personality wise she's not an ideal mate for Achellies, who's been the runt of his litter and who's struggling strength-wise.

Seri, you can't always expect your mate to follow. Also, Persephone is probably has the loner trait, meaning she will go out to hunt and mark territory alone. She also might not be that happy to chat either. But if you want your mate to follow you and go away from the den to hunt or mark territory, you can whine at them and then go. That way, they'll follow you.

Maybe persephone was a lone wolf in her pack, like she didn't have any siblings. So she's not used to hanging out with other wolves. Demeter seems to have inherited persephone's loner personality while keeping the confidence of the moon pack. If she's anything like me children might scare her, with all their energy and noise. But same with me I think she does care for them, just not traditionally. She might be watching to see what achilles does. So that she can kinda copy him like when you ran out of food and she came in to feed them. I think that if you stick with her it could be a good story about her slowly warming up to other wolves. And plus having a mate that's kinda disconnected from the pups is such a new thing and if adds variety. Idk maybe I just relate to her too much lmao

I’m pretty sure Personiphe has a loner trait, she won’t spend time with you or the pups much Pretty ironic too, one of Meadows pups goes missing, then her sons’ pup goes missing

Persephone is just a loner. She stays away from the pack, and doesnt respond to social interactions much. Also cautious. Be picky with mates! 😂

Shift + F is a "pup cam" that lets you get a closer look at your puppies. Great for taking screenshots. Your secondary howl (double tap H) tells your mate to follow you. Woofing at your mate tells them to go back to the den when they're following you.

I bet Persephone was gonna be a loner but she fell right into Achilies at fist sight instead. Don't worry, she just is being what she is. Inside she loves him so much.

Seri! After you woof to keep the pups in the den, use the whine command and Persephone will follow you. If you're already far from the den, tap the howl button twice quickly to activate your secondary howl (that'll call her to you). I had to look those up to remember them, but they've been very helpful! All of my mates turn out to be loners somehow, haha. I also don't know how you record these videos, so you may already know this, but I just want to be helpful in case there's anyone who doesn't.

i see alot of these comments saying shes a loner, (which they are bc i have a loner mate and they do this) but i just wanted to say that have to use ur secondary howl to get them to follow, or u just whine.

So, I've seen you struggling with controls in this game... So here are some tips that you could use if you want to! 1) Don't spend your stamina unnecessarily - by tapping shift you can either walk or run without spending stamina, but by holding shift, you can sprint, pick up speed but it spends stamina. 2) When marking territory, you can change scent posts anytime, anywhere. When territory is too low for your liking, make a new scent post and it will immediately come up to 100% if it's not below 20%. 3) The compass is very useful, that small hex on top of the compass shows in what territory you are, keep an eye on it as much as possible when you're in a stranger wolf's pack. It also shows you the way to dens, summer sites, scent posts, which you can use to track enemy packs' scent posts, you might not see it at first, but after following the symbol of scent post, you'll find it quite fast. 4) When you're sleep-deprived, mostly when you have a quest to mark your territory, I advise you to NOT sleep, only eat at the start, it saves time and gives you a chance to mark as much territory as possible. It won't affect you, only your stamina. 5) When choosing a den, try choosing the first one more to the center of your territory, as you will have to mark your territory around you, and running from den to the territory that you will have to remark, you will save time and energy. 6) When your pup gets sick, at first, make sure that your territory is acceptable so that you won't need to mark it as much, sleep only ONCE so that the pups get enough sleep, and then hunt, fill up and feed your pups. After that, sit by the sick pup at all times. 7) And to avoid the death of your pups, keep an eye around you, to see the first signs of danger, approaching wolves and coyotes and stuff, look around at times. 8) When first having pups, your mate will wander off to hunt and mark territory on their own, so when they're done, you should double-tap howl to call them with you, that's what the secondary howl does. If you want them to stay behind at the den, woof go home voice and they will stay with the pups. 9) Make sure to check pack info to see how hungry your mate is so that they don't starve and to see how full their stomach is for the pups, the highest amount is 125%. 10) When you want to feed pups, tap space. When you want to pick them up or pick up food, you have to hold the space. 11) To make your mate eat smaller prey like fawns, rabbits, chunks of meat, you have to drop it and back away from it so that they eat it. But they will eat from a big carcass on their own. I hope this helps, sorry if it's so long...

Seri, I don't know if you will get to read this in time but if you do, I hope this den secret will be featured in the future! A den you came across in earlier episodes where you were questioning if it was a den (the one with a ton of rocks assorted in a certain way) you are correct! It is a den and it's a very good one. I've tried it out and the best part is the summer spot for it is only a few feet away from the den which makes it easier to move everyone over to. The ability to spot predators around you while getting good coverage is excellent and the hunting is amazing (lots of elk and mule deer). It's located north of the grassy plateau area that crevice lake normally has control over. Thank you for the continued episodes and keep having a blast!

To be honest, I'm more interested in Persephone's story than any of the actual pups XD

My favorite pups are jalan and Apollo but honestly I like all of them You can tell Persephone is a loner she doesn’t spend much time with her family Btw everyone keeps on saying she’s a loner so yeah 😂 But you can actually tell she’s a loner And it’s hard to keep up with this series because of the Mysterious RU-vid recommendations

I'm loving little Apollo so far (definitely not because he got the name I suggested 👀). He seems like such a curious pup and is definitely overlooked 💚

Hi Seri! Try doing the whine vocalization to get Persephone to follow you. You can whine at your mate when you're close up to them and they will follow. If you're far away, you can do a 2nd howl to get them to come. c:

My mate has been doing the same, my mate always wanted to play, we always had bonded awhile, half way through the pups, closer to when we were moving dens for the first time, he just... Started staring off into the distance, never playing with me, saying, 'take a break from socializing with your mate', and only wagging his tail at me. The first time this started was when we were walking back from claiming some new territory, and strengthening our territory, he stopped following me, and started B-lining in the direction of the den, only time I could ever get him to come near me really, was when I used the howl to call him. (Double tap H for that howl.) So, he just completely changed half way through caring for the pups. He still bonded with the pups and howled with us, but he only came and hunted with me when I called, he always would stay near the den ever since then, we've barely ever had any attacks as well during the whole time we've had the pups, so... I don't understand why he always wants to stay with the pups now? I know the loner trait is a thing, but he never did this before, so.. I thought it was kind of weird. Also, during this, this was the first time I saw him ever go inside the den with the pups.

I’m starting to get the sense Persephone has the loner trait (since in WQ 3.0 the wolves have personalities now, perhaps Persephone is just a not-social wolf)? I would also try using the “whine” emote to get Persephone to follow you on a hunt away from the den, although I’m not sure if it will work with her being she’s not the most social of wolves, but it’s worth a try

I think that besides the fact that Pershephone has the loner trait, mabe she was ingnored as a puppy herself, and that's why she doesn't know how to interact with her children. Just a theory.

i think persephone is always on guard, scouting, to make sure that the puppies are always safe! maybe something happened when she was little and it killed her siblings? she was all alone as a dispersal wolf...

I think Jalan is a mama's boy, as you can see at 5:43 he likes to follow Persephone around and at 5:51 he's following her more. Edit: I think Jalan is a family little guy, if he was chosen I think he would protect his pups and mate with his life. And he likes to follow his siblings around, probably making sure nothing would happen to them. Tho it's just the beginning of this adventure and figuring out the pup's personalities!

Hey Seri, sometimes it is worth it to follow your mate - often they find carcasses you missed. One wolf I couldnt find food, nor a hunt in time. Mate showed me where food was.

I think Persephone is a loner, thats why she goes out to hunt by herself.

Seri I don't know if you will see this, but I think you worry too much about the feeding. I noticed with Meadow that you kept trying to feed the pups when they were full, and I think you are starting to do that with both of the twin moons too. It is important to sleep enough, don't worry, the pups don't need as much food as you seem to think they do. It is also important to remember that Achilles is perfectly capable of hunting on his own, he took out two elk before he met Persephone. You are just wasting time forcing her to come with you, she wants to mark territory and hunt on her own sometimes because she is a loner wolf. I think Achilles makes her more nervous when he acts so clingy. Just give her some space sometimes. Please don't be too hard on her. She is trying her best.

Persephone may be sick if she isn't wanting to hang out with the pups and Achilles. She may not want to get the pups sick since they are more at risk. That could also be why she is hanging back with hunting, and she is more on her own. She could also be a loner and you have to learn enough during courtship to make sure they will be able to help you take care of your pups and mark territory.

Not as early this time but who cares! I think Persephone is just more of a loner and is trying to secure territory, hunt, and kind of petrol by herself. Don't worry, she still love Achillies deep down in her heart, I'm sure of it! I actually stayed at that den for awhile until it got flooded! It's a great site but be careful. Also, watch out for bison when traveling with the pups...

From playing the game and having 5 generations of wolves I know that mates have what they prefer to bond with there are three main things vocal they bond best with howling playful bond best with playful action and confident they bond best with a high tail and confident tail wag and loners usually don’t have a main things so you just have to try I think Persephone is more confident then you may realize because she was doing the confident tail wag
