I thought the vocals sounded outstanding! Have heard other “techno” type of music as well as some really dynamic stuff…sounded outrageously good

High End is an Setup incl Room Acoustic / Treamtent. Otherwise its just buying expensive stuff and use it with only 50% of their performance

I had the opportunity to hear both at the Munich show this year and was VERY impressed by the X3 (...not so much by the Focal). But of course, as always, that's a very personal opinion :)

Totally agree. Sounded thin with little to no dynamics or sound stage. Hard to tell what it would sound like in person, but this test didn't persuade me to run out and see. Where was the bass? Too bad because I do believe they are a steal for $11k US.

I've found that in general, exhibitors (e.g. AXPONA 2024) use a very small group of songs but fail to utilize classical to really stretch the speakers out to show what it can do.
