I am currently going through this and everything that this woman said resonates, especially the bit about still being pregnant and feeling movement and wanting to honour the baby still inside you, whilst knowing that it wouldn't be for much longer. 😔 it is the most heartbreaking experience of my life and I wish no one would ever have to deal with the grief that this kind of situation brings.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. Going through this right now and it is the hardest thing I have ever been through. Thankfully I have a a wonderful husband who has been by my side through everything. I really appreciate being able to hear another story so similar to mine…T21 is not a fatal diagnosis, so I feel that some people judge the decision to terminate…maybe judge isn’t the right word, and obviously it shouldn’t matter what others think as long as we did what was right for us, but it is a difficult situation that people really don’t talk about. Really feels good to hear a story I can relate to almost exactly…I think it’s important to just feel my feelings to start the healing process, and this helps. Thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing this! When I went through this earlier this year there were hardly any videos about TFMR on RU-vid, and even less about a non fatal diagnosis. This helps women/parents going through this horrific time and it certainly makes me feel less alone.
