I like the way they've mixed metals here - I wouldn't have thought to use a brass light fixture in the bathroom where the rest of the fixtures are chrome, but it really works, especially w/ that wallpaper. I'm going to try something similar in my bathroom. THanks for the inspo.
I'm also impressed by how the interior design really overcomes the fact that this is a bland, suburban condo development surrounded by car culture.... the design makes you forget all of that and feel like you're in an urban classic space.
that intro music tho! this condo was everything!!! showed what you can do with less than 1,000 s/f of living space. It's been a while since I have seen a second bedroom designed as just a bedroom and not an at home office. well done!
i love the trim throughout i think it makes the space seem more luxurious but some of the furniture seem too big for the space like the dining room and sofa in the den. makes it feel tight
It’s beautiful the only thing I didn’t get was the bar stools was right up on top of the dinning chairs I thought it felts cramped maybe have a smaller table with just two chairs? Or just less chairs. Anyways the video is great I really like the lay out over all
I’ve always wondered if these condos are soundproof? The last condo I moved into was so expensive but could hear my neighbors and the guys living upstairs
Same, always wondered when they renovate if they soundproof. I had a flood at one point and had to replace an adjoining wall where I would hear the neighbors constantly in their kitchen and dining room as if they were sitting right with me in my living room, so opted to soundproof and haven’t regretted it once, haven’t heard them since, and added bonus I stopped getting their strong cooking odors to boot. Only wish I had the chance to do the ceiling for the neighbor upstairs who likes to stomp on their heels all day and night.
Yes very elegant & stylish but my only criticism is the stools feel crammed in, it would difficult to pull out the dining chairs to sit down, I don’t think the stools fit the space!
Good description of the condo and its features. Just one BIG suggestion - My favorite space in here has to be the den? Stop with the questioning inflection where there is no question. It seems to be the trend these days and weakens a presentation
Lovely details but the den is a bit of a fail. Those overhead shelves and built in cabinetry clutter and darken an already tight space. That is unfortunate, especially for a space that is supposed to double as a den and guest bedroom.

The wall color and trim frame the art wonderfully. The window coverings are very well planned, and the area rugs ground the space very well. The brass is a tad risky for longevity... but it looks great in 2018.
Yes I agree. The thing is it looks nice but if you imagine it with everyday things around coats shoes etc etc its going to look a mess. Far to cramped . Great for one person to live
I kind of disagree. When you live in a small space furniture that can be used for multiple reasons is important. They can now use those chairs when entertaining as a comfortable place to sit. I would rather just get rid of the bar chairs honestly for me. Maybe put a bookshelf under their that doesn't extend past the counter? Could be neat.

busybeeme100 they could easily put a tv above the fireplace but I do agree about the stools, I don’t think they were needed & it would be difficult to pull out the dining chairs to sit down!
Everything looks good except the placement of the dining table. It just blocked the way and if it’s mine, i would totally removes it. Also not understand the fireplace, if its a living room, there should be a tv so family or friends can socialize, not just having hot cocoa while gossiping
I agree with you. Kitchen+dinnnig +living , all on a sooo small place. No need for a dinning table 365/ year when you have a place to eat / counter with 4 stools. A foldable table it's enough in case you have guests. That allow more space for 345 days/ year !
This is just being picky but the light over the dining table isn’t centered and that faux fireplace could be better also why isn’t there a TV above it and the candles on the floor have no use

Hi there! We used Benjamin Moore paint in the colour, Steam, so that the walls could act as a soft white canvas for the grey-based blue stained custom millwork and built-ins that we added in the den :)
