Let me add a few thoughts as the above was a first impression only. It reminds me a lot of the classic track Oceanlab ft. Justine Suissa - Sky Falls Down. It’s just got those ingredients that not only create an uplifting atmosphere that quickly gets under your skin but that may be one of the all time greats. So why cannot this one achieve that? 1. The entire track is amazing and the absolute best part is the vocals go crazy in a way that you wish the music just kept on going. And then it simply ends. Even the extended version is only 4 minutes, which even for A.M.R is short. This song would so deserve to keep on going, adding one thin layer after the other to keep building it gradually and with that really blow your mind away, before a long and slow outro eases out this otherworldy mood. It’s a shame A.M.R didn’t make it last beyond at least 7 minutes, because he is otherwise the kind of craftsman that few are able to get close to. 2. The vocals are fine, a beautiful melody coupled with a slightly less passionate signature, as if a slightly mainstream way to execute the presentation of vocals, in that syllables must be sung/pronounced with some sort of statter or brevity, instead of letting words in the lyrics flow long and freely. Not everywhere but in places it felt like come on, give me more passion or prolong or give more depth with echos. Someone with the character of Justine Suissa would really have made it drift away far away… into ”outer space”. 3. In addition to the first two points music labels used to do releases with remixes of great quality where you couldn’t decide if the original mix was best or the remix(es), where both the original and the remix(es) would have elevated one another, thereby not only making the entire release really timeless. I hope this makes sense without meaning to be negative. I genuinely LOVE this track, which is why I crave for more. This track by A.M.R would have deserved even more passionate vocals, an even bigger scale in both length and remixes, and it would have easily become a release to remember for decades! In its current shape and form I can only compare it to some of the all time greats, which is high praise! I am off to put it on loop. That’s the best I can do. On a summer eve that I wish had lasted just as for ever as this song should.
