My review of one of the biggest drops of 2021 is here! James Whitner, A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand's collaboration on the Air Jordan 3 celebrates the women in our lives. Nicknamed "Raised by Women", this women's release features an elegant, premium but vintage feel to it, and is definitely one of my favourite releases to release this year so far. @@DUNGSTA Nah, hype is dead on arrival for these honestly, originally every thought they'd be at 1000 and up but resale ain't too bad on these and I think they're a cool ass shoe, especially one to wear the shit out of which I plan to do.

The orange leather is because its vegetable tanned instead of chrome tanned. It uses plant extracts and takes longer than chrome tan. Hence most kicks are chrome tan blue. Plus they need to use raw hide to tan it, not already treated skin. Its much more premium :)

@@cha72 everyone’s mileage might vary. I got my true to size, I can’t leave the laces untied, otherwise i would walk awkwardly. If you get half a size down, loosen up laces is definitely an option.

Watching this 3 yrs later and I can't believe these aren't a 1000 dollar shoe...these r the best jordan 3 to release in last 3-4 yrs...my pair still d.s sitting in a case almost to nice to wear but ill bust them out 1 day!! Maybe....

Beautiful pair, you can see they thought about materials, textures and colors. It’s sad that GR models in general are being made with such poor attention to detail. Awesome review as always man.

Great review! These are beautiful 😍 and (especially as a Black woman) I love the ethos behind them. Gutted I didn’t get selected in the online draw but willing to try my luck on 28 April. My only disappointment has been people ridiculing AMM online for their very valid and honourable reason for postponing the drop.

Really, really encourage you to try the lace swap. The laces are super short so it only takes like 3 minutes, and in my humble opinion they pop really nicely. How they got them to match the midsole so well idk

@@igotssssoul They definitely fit more loosely than a regular pair of 3s. They have much less padding around the ankle compared to my cement 3's. I am no expert so take it for what its worth but I would say most people could go half size down and be good.

Sean great review but its important to mention that he was inspired by his black mother. The 3 minute video highlighted this important part of his story and should be mentioned seeing as that inspired the intricate detail of the sneaker.

3:31 i never noticed till this release that the 3 upper is almost the same as the jordan 2. thats blowing my mind right now lol. change the heel tab and the ankle wrap and bam, jordan 2. i guess the elephant print just completely threw me off cause i hate the jordan 2 but absolutely love the 3. crazy

I had to go a half size down I had heel slip in true to size they do run a tad big but overall look great in hand the leather is same quality as AJ unc 3’s but a lot of details

These are clean. I did not like them at first. The more I see them, I begin to appreciate the design behind the pair. The removal of the elephant print was jarring at first, but you get use to it. This may be one of the top Jordan retros of the year. I always wondered, can a collab be sneaker of the year? The only reason I ask is due the limited nature of collab releases. I feel like if this was a GR there would be little to no hype. The colorway is solid and it would be a great buy for Jordan 3 fans.

After my L this morning, I had to cop from a reseller this afternoon, but they only hit me for $550, so I guess I lucked out for the resell prices on StockX & GOAT 🤷🏾‍♂️ much appreciate your review, although I dig what you’re saying about lengthwise, I don’t trust the wide perspective. I’m a true size 12.5, but a 13 in all my 3s because my pinky toe starts screaming after about an hour of wear, so I copped the 14.5. If they’re are wider than usual, I’ll just sell em; but I doubt it. 🤷🏾‍♂️

These run longer than your normal AJ3 I found. Width was about the same as normal.
