Another great day of ATV trail riding at Mack's Pines in the Ozark National Forest. Miles of Arkansas off road ATV & OHV trails to explore. #atv #ozarks #trailriding #fourwheeler
Great video looks like y'all had a blast. Wife and I are heading to Macks Pine in Oct. staying a week for vacation and riding atv trails. Will be our 1st time to ride there.
Definitely get out and enjoy yourself, life is too short not to. I typically run between 6 - 8psi. If my wife is going with me then I’ll keep it at 8psi just to help with the added weight. I carry a DC powered tire inflater with us incase anyone needs an adjustment or gets a puncture.
Forestry and state police will give you a $500 to $1000 fine for taking that trail along the road. They want you on the high way. You can ride the high way for up to 12 miles from trail to trail. great video sub.
Thank you for letting me know about that. I was under the impression it that area was owned by Mack’s Pines and considered their property. I feel an exception should be made for those areas by law enforcement since it is well known people come up to that part of the country for recreational riding, helping to bring tax money into the local community. Good information though, thank you for sharing!
There is also an annual pass you can purchase for the Ozark St. Francis National Forests. It’s called a “Seasonal Day Use Permit”. It is $30 and well worth the hassle in my opinion if you plan to ride often. I agree though, the trails do not get nearly the attention they need. Especially after large storms.
You can go onto the Forest Service website for Ozark-St. Francis National Forest and there should be a number listed for the Forest’s Office. You can call that and do everything over the phone, then they’ll send your year pass to you through the mail. Btw sorry for the late response. For some reason I’m just now being notified about your comment.
