Over twenty years ago now, at Halloween, I was listening to a radio program on spiritualism. I was going out to my garage to exercise but I wanted to hear the rest of the broadcast, so I put a cassette tape in and pressed record (this all sounds a bit quaint now!). While I was training, for some reason I starting thinking about my mother, who had passed away a couple of years earlier. The next day I listened to the tape, and at one point the transmission broke, and a faint voice, my mother's, said 'I'm still here'. The radio program then resumed. She also said something I couldn't quite catch, despite listening a number of times, but it began with the same letter as my name.
Ha! Yes, quite right. "The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater."
Another great video Bob! If you're ever in Central Ohio, I'd be delighted to give you a tour of the largest mound structures in North America. Take care - Grammaticus.
