The progress is as fantastic as the HX50 itself. The whole team have done miracles. It proves that everybody involved can achieve great things when a company has a great leader.

Google says you’re in Staffordshire so the helicopter activity could just be Sting or Elton & their entourage staying at the Swanky hotel on the Hampshire Dorset border at Walkford ( an uninspiring location if ever there was ) 😁👍

I wish you every success, but I think the future is electric multirotor, not the insane complexity of hundreds of moving parts, at least for moving people. Heavy lift will be turbines for a while yet...

Rather than a tail rotor would an angled control surface work on a helicopter? redirecting the rear rotor wash to counter the torque. Or wont it have enough authority

Certain helicopters have shaped tail booms that help offset the torque required by the tail rotor while in the hover but as you have already guessed, it wouldn't have enough authority by itself.
