One bad thing about this is that, since the MC cannot feel emotion, it renders all of his accomplishments meaningless since he will never feel anything. No matter what he does, what he accomplishes, or what he has He will always feel the same. He will never feel any sense of accomplishment, no joy, no sadness to compare to the good moments in life to. Nothing. He is truly without meaning, without feeling. No matter what, he will always feel the same. Truly a meaningless existence, even in your small, personal world, You are still without meaning. And that is something that no one else has to deal with.
Do you understand what "feelings" are?. How they are generated, how they effect "you" and how that makes you have more "feelings" ?. Something good happens, your brain-chemistry reacts without your control, you "feel" something, you think about how you feel, and THAT makes your chemistry react again. Some people have brain-chemistry "faults" and the "good" chemicals make their fault make BAD chemicals. Other people have a DIFFERENT brain-chemistry "fault" so what should make them feel "good" makes them feel sad. If he has not got any of that, his "pleasures" would all have to be contemplative, the "pleasure" of logical planning and success. Which would be sort of inhuman.
You misunderstood me, I wasn't getting at you, or accusing you of anything. I was merely contemplating what life would be like if your mental structure was such that you were incapable of feelings, and to do that, I posited WHAT feelings are, and how they alter, and even FORM our mental processes. We might say, or claim "Life would be meaningless without feelings" but WE JUST FEEL THAT. It might be that a being could have intellectual satisfaction, or intellectually find "meaning" in things that we need "feelings" to consider worth while. @@jackham5967

This is actually one of the few anime that I almost got to finish before the service I was using shut down but it is an awesome animated watch actually very well-written characters good story fantastic voice acting
Make more plz and I’m subbing I love this. I’m on an alt rn. btw I also invite u to d&d sometime. And I have a question what’s the anime and where can I watch it?
The fact is that he is not even inside a game, he was transported from the game to a fantasy world along with his subordinates, and they are all real people/entities now.
They shut down the servers while he was playing. No spoiler but some gamers consciousness got locked into the AI during the reboot process, plus he stops thinking about goin back once the gets caught up in trying not to be found out by the NPCs as a fraud 😅
He is not trapped in the game, he got isekaied into a whole other world where his in game character and the base of his guild, along with all the npc's in there, got turned into real creatures with very real magic and powers. This is why the game interface vanished entirely and the only screen things seen later are stuff from interacting with the enchantments of the fortress itself which got converted to function that way. But he has no way to, for example, pull up a status screen to check out his or anyone else's stats.
@@user-px8go6mx4w Well of course he starts out thinking that way, but he concludes pretty quickly through his interactions with the npc's loyal to him that A: they can react to free form speech. B: he has a sense of Smell, touch and so on in that world and C: he's allowed to do 18+ type activities without 'the game' stopping him somehow. All 3 of these are things that havent or cant be done with the VR tech that was in the old or any current games of the world he's from originally and that last one? It is legally required by Any game that such actions be prohibited or censored, no exceptions. Therefore and coupled with the ever accumulating hints to the same effect, he can quickly surmise that he is not simply stuck in a new game.
