Ubisoft just shared some massive news about The Division franchise and future development at Massive Entertainment. Of course, Dóri wanted to know more so he caught up with newly appointed Executive Producer Julian Gerighty on what the future holds for the brand and The Division 3.

Beyond ecstatic about D3's development and the brand in its entirety. Glad they appointed EP to someone who truly has a passion for the project.

TD1 was my favorite game, it was very difficult to play another game at that time, TD2 discouraged me a little because it didn't follow the gameplay engine. TD1 had an incredible theme, cold and dark weather, civilians on the streets asking for help, factions walking the streets causing chaos I'm excited for a new game, please Massive, use TD1 as an example for The Division 3. You could explore the Hunters faction a little more.

Great to hear they are making steps forward in providing more to the Division story. I am looking forward to what they come up with, hopefully one of those things will be an easier way to provide PTS feedback; I normally play the PTS and never have the chance to actually give my thoughts on the proposed changes.

is "Snowdrop" Engine capable to make season change in the game? it would be nice to see a changing seasons system. so every faction would be happy if we can get 3 months summer, then autumn, then winter

hope the developers added the mg42/mg3 LMG to all division games and also the apparel can be use to all division games too. the reason why i love the MG42/MG3 LMG is the firepower, same bullet quantity of M60 LMG but can be added more on gunner skills but the RPM is much faster then mg5 equal to BULLET KING or even more tbh.

I'm rooting for this game, customization, weapons, bosses, legendary missions. It will be amazing . If it's possible, I'll make my character identical to a Hunter, however, I'm more looking forward to Dark Zone, just a DZ with multiple players, Best PVP in TD1

This is amazing news. I hope Div 3 will have a darker feel more akin to the first game whilst retaining Div 2s smooth mechanics (but we need faster grenade animations).

I hope it is just for current gen, because I think the solution of sponge enemies is quantity, The First Descendant is the first game I played that implemented this, and it's way more fun, if you don't kill fast enough you are flooded with enemies, it's a very different and way more fun approach than current The Division. And that's allowed you to be and feel way more powerful, since you need to have a high kill per second to pass through.

I still remember the E3 trailer of the division from 2013 and how the game was downgraded into oblivion when it was released. hopefully div3 will be the game we never got and the release is probably many many years away if they just started working on it now..

It would be awesome if they revived the original division, still has much more potential, they could have done so much more. I will always prefer D1 over the division 2, even though I’ve beaten both, D1 has an atmosphere that doesn’t have any other game. Either revive it or make a remake (with Real offline for normal manhattan and online for the DZ. Always coming back for more gameplay

Dont rush game, make good changes but keep that amazing feeling of bigness world. We as players also want good expansions to have something to fight for in new story, DLC's are not bad idea if they are made good Having over 1k hours in Div1 and i was amazed with many things, Bought Div2 in june and loved even more the whole universe.

The big question still is..., will division 3 be a better game than 1 and 2? A really finished game without crashes, bugs, glitches and cheaters instead of a beta version with endless updates that only create new/other issues ??? 🤔

If they are going to make a The Division 3, I want them to give me the real The Division that was sold in 2014, which I bought in 2016. Not the false promise of The Division 1 and 2. scoundrels!
