Nice looking beef. I was born in the country in Ohio in 1956, across from a farm, we had chickens, and a few people in the family were farmers, sadly that has passed. My Grandfather's sister and her husband were the last. They had cows and chickens and fields, Love the way of life, love the peace. Home made and old recipes for me, the "Old Faithfuls" I call them. A souvlaki is good though, as they are cooked on the fire. Your family is blessed.

What is the white powder added to the top of the beef in the jar? Must the lids be new or can they be reused for use in long term storage? It would be nice to see the storage area for the preserved foods. Thank you for the video.
