Ms Anikina is a Cataract, Surgical Vitreoretinal (VR) and Medical Retina Specialist who does vitreo-retinal surgery on epiretinal membranes when indicated.
This video is aimed at Ophthalmologists in training and established ophthalmic specialists, and also for optometrists to whom patients with epiretinal membranes often present first. It is about the retinal condition called epiretinal membrane over the macula that may require vitreo-retinal surgery.
Ms Evgenia Anikina works at Clinica London in Private Ophthalmology and is also an NHS Consultant at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading. She is a skilled vitreo-retinal surgeon and educator.
