Best is when you are taking a detailed history, and just before examination or midway the patient starts packing things and leaves saying "I am discharged"! And that was your preprof case ! TRUE STORY 😅 !
Yes it's very necessary which kind of alcohol There's nothing funny All medical students should ask which she/he consume Beer, Brandy, Rum, Whisky, Gin, Vodka etc etc
It's my dream to become a doctor in my childhood. my daughter admitted in hospital for diabetes in icu ward. And i was there 10 days. Truly I saw dedication of the doctors towards the patients. They are working very hard, and i can't even imagine me in their place. Salute to all true doctors
Atleast she is asking how many glasses . our professor asked us to calculate amount of alcohol from the day he is drinking (years ago) by using some formula 😳 😢
As a medical student, these give me a motivation to present a case and other answers...... even if I made some mistake then it would turn into a funny memory❤
Exactly same situation I had at medical school I even miss the bus bcuz of repeated case taking Professor will never be satisfied by our case presentation He keep on telling go take properly properly.....😣😣😣
I have nothing to do with medical science but I was a topper in school and gave it a thought about becoming a doctor. Thankfully I dint choose that path. At the age of 18 I read Nothing lasts forever novel by Sidney Sheldon. The way the new docs are tortured by the seniors..by asking so many questions on Prognosis..I felt so thankful I dint choose that path.. I would hv neva made it tho 😂
if the patient was of a different doctor I would totally skip glaucoma in the history its like digging your own grave adding different diseases especially since there is no bedside presentation here
Haha.. U r incredible. Except for type of HF and type of glaucoma everything is so accurate.. Especially "did u even talk to the patient? Go and take the history properly again" part. 😄😄
God I sometimes wonder whether my professors are humans or demons.. I literally hate my med school life .. This is my opinion and you aren't living it or you don't even know what I'm going through so yeah don't say any nonsense.. You can just ignore my comment..
Student -The patient does not drink and smoke. Doctor - How do you know? Student - I talked to the patient Doctor - Rule no. 2 Never trust your patient. Get me the reports. Student - Mehnat Barbad bc...
Worse is when consultant stop you at every positive and negative symptoms asked from patients and ask you d/d related with them in this case scenario...... Jo thoda bahut confidence bacha hota h cp k liye vo bhi khatm ho jata h
taking history is the most complicated part for medical student.... itna history leti hu par jab vi maam ati hain pata nehi yeh neya history kaise ho jati hai... file dekho patient se pucho par maam k cross questions ke age neya history ban jati hain 😅
