Right, this gave me a deeper appreciation for their unity because he did great explaining the lyrics whereas she is into the music itself the most and vibing to that. Both sucked into their own worlds but equally experiencing the song

check out the live version ( at the brixton academy ) and you'll understand why Gojira is one of the best metal performer live !!!- you should try their "softer" side with songs like "born in winter" or "low lands" ( about Joe & Mario's mum passing ) the video was shot in their family home ( south west of France ) and is just beautiful to watch - thanx for the reaction anyway , good to see you enjoying one of my favorite band !!! greetings from french polynesia

Absolutely.. If it's the 2019 tour..the day before they were here.in Manchester.. I've uploaded them doing silvera . It was a day or two before Brixton academy. Seen them about 5 times and they just get better every time..

Gojira is the perfect combination of heavyness, lyricism and speed/beat variations, just like your channel! It has a balance to it. Metal calms us down because after the storm there is always a sunny morning in our soul. It makes us let it all out. You can never go wrong with Gojira. That's probably why they carry the touch today... Keep it up! 🤘🏽

I have seen hundreds of live bands and been to dozens of festivals and I can honestly say Gojira is the most professional of them all...they just don't miss a beat, always on the ball 100% and never phone it in. I once heard them described as 'sentient metal'...and it's prob the best description of them I've heard, totally accurate. And Lex your a gem, always get me smiling. :)

as someone who's listened to metal for about 15 years now I find it relaxes me a lot 1 because I'm listening to music I like 2 it feels like a release of built up energy next on your gojira list should be the live version of where dragons dwell

Most of the time, yes I agree, Muad’Dib. But, a song like The Art of Dying is hard to replicate live… and I haven’t seen a live version I like as much as the album version. Same with The Heaviest Matter of the Universe. So I wouldn’t say live is better across the board… just mostly better. It’s a case by case basis.

Really enjoy Brad’s understanding of the lyrics. Gojira is a very powerful band! Ona aside note I saw them at the New Daisy Theater in Memphis, TN 15-17 years ago with Lamb of God and it was still the loudest concert I’ve ever been to! Lamb of God was great but Gojira stole the show

Lex is totally right.. Metal consumes all kinds of emotions, For me it is teraphy, it keeps me calm all the time. No matter if im sad or angry or what ever it is. I always go into metal. It specially gives me courage to do what necessery need to be done.

As any outlet, letting out any built up stress or emotions definitely helps to relax you, and since Metal deals with a lot of heavy negative emotions it's a good outlet for anger and sadness so after any emotional outburst you'll typically feel more relaxed. Obviously these are very dependant on the person and their experiences but as a general thing.

Great video! If ya’ll want a rock band with bars and a deep message then you should check out more Rage Against the Machine. You only scratched the surface with them and have missed out on my favorite songs by them. They have elements that both of you will thoroughly enjoy. I would recommend the songs Know Your Enemy, Take the Power Back, and Wake Up. All of these songs are Bar heavy and they’ll keep Lex moving for sure.

You are such fun people to watch reacting to good music. Gojira are in the top 5 in metal these days in my opinion. I would love to see you reacting to some of their live performances (as already suggested in the comments) if only to see Mario attacking those drums like a beast 😆 But as a huge Jinjer fan I´m a little dissapointed every day when I don´t see new Jinjer reactions from you 😪. There are alreay 2 new videos out, Mediator and Wallflower, from the new album that was released on the 27th. Please check out at least Wallflower, I promise you will be pleasantly surprised... and the lyrics are very important for that one so have them ready and prepare for getting a little emotional 🖤
